La Verbenita Club is returning to Ibiza Town on Saturday, 7 November 2026, bringing a full day of live music, food and festive atmosphere to the centre of the city.
Originally scheduled for 3 October, the open-air celebration was postponed due to rain. The new date will see Vara de Rey and Plaza del Parque transformed into a large gathering space, with 12 hours of entertainment running from midday until midnight.
The event combines the distinctive atmosphere of a traditional Spanish verbena with contemporary music, local gastronomy and a programme designed to bring residents and visitors together during Ibiza's quieter season.
Five Artists Bring Music to Vara de Rey
La Verbenita Club is known for its mix of rumba, Latin influences, musical fusion and contemporary sounds.
The November edition features five artists:
-
El Carmona
-
Mágico Rodríguez
-
Francisca Valenzuela
-
El Gordo Romero
-
El Manolo
The event is hosted by its creators, El Carmona and Mágico Rodríguez, also known as Jordi Cardona and Adrián Rodríguez.
The format combines live music, DJs and a lively street-party atmosphere, offering an alternative to Ibiza's traditional nightclub scene.
Fourth Ibiza Red Potato Tortilla Competition
One of the main attractions accompanying La Verbenita will be the fourth Concurso de Tortilla de Patata Roja de Ibiza, dedicated to the island's distinctive red potato.
Organised by Ibiza Town Council, the competition celebrates one of the characteristic ingredients of Ibizan gastronomy and encourages participation in local food culture.
Participating groups will prepare their own Spanish omelettes using ingredients supplied by the organisers. The competition is scheduled to begin at 12:00, with participants required to set up from 10:30.
Prizes will be awarded in the form of baskets of local products:
-
First prize: €300 worth of local products.
-
Second prize: €200 worth of local products.
-
Third prize: €150 worth of local products.
All participating groups will also receive a selection of local products.
Food, Drinks and a Full Day of Street Celebrations
Alongside the music and cooking competition, the programme includes food and drink areas, with vermouth, gildas and other gastronomic offerings.
The combination of live entertainment, traditional food and outdoor socialising gives La Verbenita its distinctive character, creating a community-focused celebration in the heart of Ibiza Town.
The event also aims to support the town centre, local businesses and cultural activity during the autumn and winter months, when the island's visitor numbers are lower.
