Music and Local Shopping Come Together in Sant Antoni With Two Free Fairs
10 September 2026
Sant Antoni de Portmany is preparing a weekend dedicated to music, collecting and local commerce, with the return of the IX Ibiza Record Fair alongside the XXXI Stock Fair.
The two events will take place at the Passeig de ses Fonts on Saturday, September 12, and Sunday, September 13, creating a combined programme of vinyl records, music memorabilia, DJ sessions and discounted products from local businesses.
Both events are free to attend and will run from 10am to 9pm.
The IX Ibiza Record Fair Returns
The Ibiza Record Fair will celebrate its ninth edition this weekend, bringing specialist sellers and collectors together in the centre of Sant Antoni.
Visitors will be able to browse a wide selection of vinyl records, CDs and DVDs, as well as posters, T-shirts and other music-related items.
The event is organised by the Associació Músic Cultural Retro and is aimed at both serious collectors and people simply interested in discovering physical music.
For collectors, record fairs offer the opportunity to find editions that may be difficult to locate in conventional shops, from older releases and rare pressings to unexpected musical discoveries.
Music Will Continue Throughout the Weekend
The record fair will also be accompanied by live DJ sessions.
The programme has been designed to connect the experience of browsing records with the musical culture that has made Ibiza internationally famous.
Saturday's sessions will include Alex Aguilera, DJ Betterman, Dope Selekta, Javi Stomp, Joan Ribas and Redhair 56 & Miguel Lorente.
Sunday's programme will feature Rafa Desan, Rick, Noelia Mendez, Chito de Melero, Angel Linde and Clara Da Costa & Karlos Sense.
The DJ sets will run throughout the day, providing a continuous soundtrack at the Passeig de ses Fonts while visitors explore the stalls.
Specialist Dealers From Outside Ibiza
The fair will also feature experienced record dealers and collectors from other parts of Spain.
Among those participating are Ángel Querol from Firadisc, which organises the Barcelona Record Fair, Pere Terrassa from Runaway and Joan Carles Ramos from Musicom.
The participating sellers are familiar with major record fairs in Spain and internationally, including events in the Netherlands, France and Italy.
Their presence gives the Sant Antoni fair a broader collecting focus and brings specialist knowledge directly to Ibiza.
Sunday Adds the Stock Fair
The musical programme will be joined on Sunday by another long-running Sant Antoni event, the XXXI Stock Fair.
The event is organised by the Sant Antoni Town Hall's Department of Local Economic Development in collaboration with the Associació de Comerciants de Sant Antoni.
Local businesses will bring discounted products into the public space, offering shoppers the chance to find deals across a range of categories.
Among the products expected at the fair are clothing, footwear, home decoration, children's products, toys and accessories.
Two Fairs in the Same Location
Sunday will mark the third consecutive year that the Record Fair and Stock Fair have shared the Passeig de ses Fonts.
The combination gives visitors an unusually broad daytime programme.
Someone arriving to search for records can also browse local shops' discounted products, while people attending the Stock Fair can enjoy the live music and discover the collecting side of Ibiza's music culture.
The shared setting also creates additional activity in the centre of Sant Antoni during a period when the island remains busy with visitors.
Supporting Sant Antoni Businesses
The Stock Fair is intended to give local businesses another opportunity to connect directly with customers.
For participating shops, taking products into a central public space allows them to highlight surplus stock and seasonal items while attracting visitors to the town centre.
The initiative is part of Sant Antoni's wider efforts to encourage local commerce and generate activity outside the traditional retail environment.
The combination with the record fair adds a cultural component to the commercial event.
A Different Kind of Ibiza Weekend
September in Ibiza is still closely associated with nightlife, beach clubs and the final stages of the summer season, but the weekend in Sant Antoni offers something different.
The record fair taps into the island's deep musical identity through physical music, collecting and DJ culture.
At the same time, the Stock Fair focuses on local businesses and everyday shopping.
The result is a more relaxed daytime programme that can appeal to residents, visitors, families and music enthusiasts alike.
Free Entry From 10am to 9pm
Both fairs will take place at the Passeig de ses Fonts and admission is free.
The IX Ibiza Record Fair will run on Saturday, September 12, and Sunday, September 13, from 10am to 9pm.
The XXXI Stock Fair will take place on Sunday, September 13, during the same hours.
The central location means visitors can easily combine the fairs with a walk through Sant Antoni, a meal in town or a visit to the waterfront.
Keeping Physical Music Culture Alive
The record fair also highlights the enduring appeal of physical music at a time when most listening takes place digitally.
Vinyl in particular has experienced a strong revival internationally, attracting both dedicated collectors and younger listeners interested in owning physical editions.
In Ibiza, that interest connects naturally with the island's long relationship with DJs, electronic music and club culture.
Events like the Sant Antoni fair provide a space where that history can be explored away from the clubs themselves.
An Event for Collectors and Curious Visitors
Not everyone attending the fair will be looking for a rare record.
For some visitors, the attraction will simply be browsing unfamiliar albums, discovering a particular artist or finding a soundtrack associated with a favourite period of Ibiza.
The presence of specialist dealers also gives people the opportunity to ask questions and learn more about records and collecting.
Combined with the DJ programme, the event creates an atmosphere closer to a small music festival and market than a conventional retail fair.
Sant Antoni Brings Music and Commerce Together
The weekend's programme brings two very different activities together in the same central location.
The IX Ibiza Record Fair celebrates records, music memorabilia, DJs and collecting, while Sunday's Stock Fair gives local businesses an opportunity to sell products at reduced prices.
Both events are free, making them accessible to residents and visitors without the need for advance planning or tickets.
A Weekend Plan in Sant Antoni
With two days of records and DJ sessions followed by a Sunday combining music with discounted local shopping, the Passeig de ses Fonts is set to become one of Sant Antoni's main daytime gathering points this weekend.
The events also offer a reminder that Ibiza's cultural identity extends well beyond its nightlife.
For music lovers, collectors and bargain hunters, the programme provides an easy way to spend part of the weekend discovering another side of the island.
Sant Antoni will be mixing music and commerce from September 12 to 13, with the record fair running across both days and the Stock Fair joining the programme on Sunday.
