Chinois Ibiza will celebrate its official Summer Closing on Saturday, October 17, but the Marina Botafoch club will continue hosting selected events later in October and into November.

The distinction is important for anyone following Ibiza's end-of-season calendar. October 17 marks the club's official summer closing, but it does not mark the final event of the 2026 season. Current listings show additional parties through Halloween and a final TRIP date on November 1.

October brings a series of residency closings

The final weeks of the regular Chinois programme feature several residency and party closings.

Major League DJz will close Echoes of Tomorrow on October 9, following their October 2 date with Oscar Mbo.

Claptone's The Masquerade continues on October 3 before its closing date on October 11, while Bedouin's SAGA closes on October 4 with Guy Gerber and Nandu.

La Troya follows on October 5, while Mahmut Orhan's residency has its closing on October 7.

Defected Forever, which is making its first season at Chinois, concludes its 2026 residency on October 8.

Maceo Plex and Meneito add special dates

The residency closings are accompanied by several special events.

On October 6, Chinois Presents Maceo Plex brings Maceo Plex, Raxon and Bruz to the club.

Meneito follows on October 10 with Alex Martini, Pikabboy and Sexky B2B Tonificado.

The party returns later in the month, with another Meneito date scheduled for October 30.

Butch closes his first Ibiza residency

October 16 will see the final date of Butch's first Ibiza residency, Come To Butch.

The closing lineup includes Butch alongside Toman, Bambounou and Carl Bergé.

The event is scheduled for the night immediately before Chinois' official Summer Closing.

Chinois Summer Closing on October 17

The main closing celebration takes place on Saturday, October 17.

The lineup features Guy Gerber, Camilo Franco, Emanuel Satie B2B Baron and Nadja.

The current event listing gives opening time as 23:30, with the session scheduled to continue until 06:30.

This is the club's official Summer Closing, marking the end of its main summer season.

It should not, however, be described as the final Chinois event of 2026.

TRIP returns after the Summer Closing

TRIP forms an important part of Chinois' late-season programme.

The series began its late-season run on September 30 and returns on October 14 with Magda, Tania Vulcano, Hugo Martinez, Jonny Rock, O.Bee and Tomas Station.

Another TRIP date follows on October 24 with Traumer, Arapu, Cesar Vinczent and Isbel.

The final scheduled TRIP event takes place on November 1, featuring Ricardo Villalobos, Sonya Moonear and Maher Daniel.

Halloween at Chinois

Chinois will also remain active over Halloween weekend.

The programme includes Meneito on Friday, October 30 and a Halloween party on Saturday, October 31 featuring Cuartero, Melon Bomb, Manu Gonzalez and Lau.

The Halloween programme is followed by the November 1 TRIP event, meaning the club's activity extends well beyond the October 17 Summer Closing.

November 1 marks the final scheduled date

The currently published programme lists TRIP with Ricardo Villalobos, Sonya Moonear and Maher Daniel on Sunday, November 1.

La Voz de Ibiza's current Chinois listings describe this as the event that puts the final full stop to the 2026 season before the club closes until spring.

The schedule could still change, but based on the currently published calendar, November 1 is the final scheduled Chinois date.

Chinois keeps Ibiza dancing after the main closings

Chinois' late-season calendar illustrates an important detail about Ibiza's October clubbing schedule.
