Jazz Point Ibiza Returns from 15 to 18 October with Seven Concerts at The Standard

October 13, 2026

Jazz Point Ibiza returns this week for its seventh edition, bringing four days of international jazz to Ibiza Town from Thursday 15 to Sunday 18 October 2026. This year, all seven concerts will take place at The Standard, Ibiza, with afternoon performances on the UP rooftop and evening shows at JARA restaurant.

The new format brings the festival together in one venue, creating a more intimate setting where audiences can experience the musicians up close. Organised by Ibiza Music Agency in collaboration with Joel Chriss Productions, the programme combines internationally recognised performers with artists connected to Ibiza’s own jazz community.

Four Days of Live Jazz

The festival opens on Thursday, 15 October, at 21:00 with A Taste of All Festival Artists. The opening concert introduces the musicians through several different line-ups, including guitarist Romero Lubambo with vibraphonist Andreu Coll and drummer Joan Carles Marí, vocalist Catalina Londoño with pianist Tal Cohen, and saxophonist Karolina Strassmayer performing with fellow festival musicians.

The evening also features the trio of Maikel Vistel, bassist François Moutin and drummer Florian Arbenz, with additional guest musicians.

On Friday, 16 October, the programme begins at 14:30 on the UP rooftop with The Guitar Masters, featuring Brazilian guitarist Romero Lubambo alongside Cuban guitarist Norberto Rodríguez, who is based in Ibiza.

At 21:00, the festival moves to JARA for The Trumpet Masters. The Michael Cruse Quintet will perform alongside international festival musicians, with Ibiza trumpeter Pere Navarro as a special guest.

Saturday, 17 October, starts at 14:30 with Sweet Sounds of Piano and Vocal, featuring Tal Cohen and Colombian singer Catalina Londoño, joined by special guest Wayne Escoffery.

The evening concert, The Jazz Point All-Stars, begins at 21:00 and brings together Karolina Strassmayer, Maikel Vistel, Michael Cruse, François Moutin, Florian Arbenz and Tal Cohen, with Wayne Escoffery also appearing as a special guest.

The final day, Sunday 18 October, opens at 14:30 with An Afternoon to Remember, featuring the Pere Navarro Trio performing music from Navarro’s album Quintessential.

The festival closes at 21:00 with From Cannonball to Ornette, featuring Karolina Strassmayer with the Florian Arbenz Trio and Andreu Coll on vibraphone.

International Jazz Meets Ibiza Talent

The festival continues its focus on bringing international artists together with musicians from Ibiza. Alongside performers from across the world, the programme features local and island-based musicians including Andreu Coll, Pere Navarro, Norberto Rodríguez and Joan Carles Marí.

The organisers see these collaborations as an important part of Jazz Point’s role in the island’s cultural scene. Previous editions have helped local musicians build connections with international performers, while creating opportunities for new musical partnerships.

The 2026 line-up includes artists with major international credentials, among them saxophonist Wayne Escoffery, a Grammy Award winner, and Karolina Strassmayer, known for her work with the WDR Big Band.

Masterclasses for Musicians and Music Lovers

Alongside the concerts, Jazz Point Ibiza will offer two masterclasses designed to share knowledge and encourage musical development.

On Saturday, vocalist Catalina Londoño will lead a session focused on the voice. On Sunday, trumpeter Michael Cruse will host a masterclass open to musicians playing different instruments.

Advance registration is required by email at masterclass@jazzpointibiza.com. The published fees are €15 for students enrolled at music schools in Ibiza and €25 for professional musicians.
