One of the world's best-known superyachts has a long connection with Ibiza.

The 105-metre Lady Moura has made repeated visits to the island over the years, including a 2026 stop in Ibiza recorded by vessel-tracking data. The yacht is a familiar sight in several major Mediterranean destinations and has also been seen in Mallorca, Monaco, the French Riviera and other ports.

A Yacht Built in 1990

Lady Moura was built by the German shipyard Blohm & Voss and entered service in 1990.

At the time of her launch, she was among the largest private yachts in the world. The vessel measures approximately 105 metres in length and was designed by Italian naval architect Luigi Sturchio, with Diana Yacht Design also involved in the original project.

The yacht is registered under the Bahamian flag and carries IMO number 1002380. Current vessel data lists her at around 6,359 to 6,539 gross tons, depending on the database and measurement record.

From Saudi Ownership to a Mexican Owner

Lady Moura was originally commissioned for Saudi businessman Nasser Al-Rashid.

The yacht was subsequently sold in 2021. Contemporary reports from the yacht brokerage industry recorded an asking price of $125 million for the sale, while more recent reporting identifies Mexican businessman Ricardo Salinas Pliego as the current owner.

This is an important update to older reports about the yacht. The 2021 Puente de Mando article identifies Alberto Bailleres as the owner, but that information is no longer current.

Regular Visits to Ibiza

Lady Moura has visited Ibiza on multiple occasions.

In March 2024, the yacht arrived in Ibiza and docked in the Levante basin, becoming the first megayacht to use that area following its management concession to IGY Marinas. Local reporting described the yacht as a regular visitor to the Balearic Islands.

Vessel-tracking records also show two Ibiza calls in July 2026. Lady Moura arrived in Ibiza on July 8 and departed on July 11, before returning to the island on July 12 and leaving again on July 14.

The yacht subsequently continued through the western Mediterranean, with recorded calls in Monaco and Antibes before reaching Genoa in September 2026.

Inside the Megayacht

Lady Moura was designed as a private luxury yacht rather than a commercial passenger vessel.

Published specifications vary slightly between sources, but recent yacht databases list accommodation for around 26 to 30 guests and a crew of roughly 60 to 72 people. The yacht includes a helipad and extensive leisure facilities.

Other published descriptions of the vessel include a cinema, spa facilities, swimming pool, gym, entertainment areas and a beach-club area.

Its distinctive exterior also features the yacht's name and coat of arms in gold. Recent reporting describes these details as being made from 24-karat gold.

Built for Long Mediterranean Voyages

Lady Moura was built with the ability to undertake long-distance voyages while maintaining the facilities expected of a large private yacht.

The vessel is powered by two diesel engines and can reach a top speed of around 22 knots, with cruising figures varying between sources depending on the operating conditions cited. Current yacht data lists a cruising speed of around 20 knots.

Its size places it firmly among the largest private yachts regularly seen in Mediterranean waters.

A Familiar Sight Around Ibiza

For Ibiza, Lady Moura is part of the increasingly visible superyacht traffic that forms part of the island's nautical tourism sector.

Its repeated appearances are not limited to Ibiza. The yacht has been recorded in ports and anchorages around the western Mediterranean, including Mallorca, Monaco, Antibes, Málaga and the Italian coast.

While the yacht's specifications and ownership have changed in the years since the original Puente de Mando report, Lady Moura's connection with Ibiza has continued, with the 105-metre vessel remaining a recognizable presence in the island's waters.
