Lotus Art in Motion Returns to Mondrian Ibiza With 20 International Artists

19 September 2026

Contemporary art will take over Mondrian Ibiza and Hyde Ibiza in Cala Llonga on October 10 and 11, 2026, when Lotus Art in Motion returns for its third edition.

The two-day event will bring together 20 artists from 15 countries, combining contemporary art with music, cultural programming and a social initiative in the setting of Cala Llonga.

The exhibition will feature 60 original works spanning painting, sculpture, photography and digital art.

Two days of art in Cala Llonga

Lotus Art in Motion was launched in 2023 by Lotus Ibiza, a contemporary art gallery, artist agency and event producer based in Ibiza.

After its second edition in 2024, the event returns this autumn with an expanded international programme designed to bring artists, collectors, art enthusiasts and visitors together around contemporary creativity.

The 2026 edition will take place across Mondrian Ibiza and Hyde Ibiza, with the exhibition centred at the Mondrian Ibiza lobby.

20 artists from 15 countries

The event will present work by 20 artists representing 15 countries.

The official Mondrian Ibiza listing currently highlights artists including Kocelia Chougar, Alex Jenkins and Andrea Bonaceto, alongside other special guests.

The event's published programme also names artists including Lela Radulovic, Domenico Formichetti, Jordi Gomez, Lauren Baker, Joan Mas, Mario Belem, Sergio Preciado and Victor Spinelli.

60 original works

Visitors will be able to explore a collection of 60 original works covering several contemporary art disciplines.

Painting, sculpture, photography and digital art will all form part of the exhibition, giving the event a broad visual programme rather than focusing on a single artistic medium.

The format also gives visitors an opportunity to meet participating artists and explore the works presented during the event.

Gala Night on October 10

The opening night on Saturday, October 10 is a private, invitation-only event for artists, collectors, media representatives and professionals from the art world.

The gala is scheduled from 18:00 to 23:00 according to Mondrian Ibiza's official event information.

The evening will combine the exhibition with live music, DJ sets, artistic interventions and food and drinks.

The programme includes performances by Daelle Live Band, with DJ sets from Sarah Main and Rampini. An Art Mapping project by diVISION Innovación Visual is also planned.

The exhibition opens to the public

On Sunday, October 11, Lotus Art in Motion will open to the general public.

The official schedule is 12:00 to 20:00, with free admission for residents and visitors.

The public day will provide an opportunity to view the exhibition and meet artists without needing an invitation to the private gala.

A new charitable element

The 2026 edition also introduces a charitable component.

Four additional artworks will be available online before the event and displayed during the exhibition. According to the event organisers, the full proceeds from these works will be divided between Ibiza & Formentera Preservation and ASPANADIF.

The initiative links the art programme with environmental protection and support for local social projects.

Art, music and the Mediterranean

The setting is an important part of the event.

Mondrian Ibiza sits on the beachfront of Cala Llonga, where the exhibition will take place against the backdrop of the Mediterranean.

The hotel is also preparing special accommodation packages connected with the event for visitors who want to combine the exhibition with a stay in Ibiza.

A growing autumn art event

Lotus Art in Motion adds another contemporary art event to Ibiza's autumn cultural calendar, bringing an international group of artists to Cala Llonga after the peak summer season.

The 2026 programme combines an invitation-only industry and collector evening with a free public exhibition the following day, while adding a charitable element through the sale of four additional artworks.

For visitors interested in contemporary art, October 11 will be the main opportunity to experience the exhibition without an invitation, with the doors open throughout the afternoon and free entry.
