Ibiza has received a fresh stamp of approval from one of the biggest names in fashion, culture and youth media.

NYLON has just published its new “Guide to Ibiza,” taking readers beyond the island’s famous nightlife and highlighting its hotels, restaurants, beaches, shopping, beach clubs and hidden corners.

The guide describes Ibiza as one of Europe’s most beautiful and culturally complex destinations, while acknowledging the island’s unmistakable reputation for celebrity visitors, yachts, superclubs and all-night parties.

Of course, NYLON could hardly publish an Ibiza guide without talking about the clubs.

Pacha receives plenty of attention, with the guide describing the legendary venue as one of the institutions that helped transform Ibiza into a global nightlife destination.

The writer visited for Gordo’s Taraka residency, experiencing the full-scale superclub production of lasers, dancers, fog and visual effects.

The guide also recommends [UNVRS], highlighting David Guetta's performances and the venue's enormous scale, while Ushuaïa gets a special mention for first-time Ibiza visitors.

For something smaller, NYLON recommends Chinois, describing it as a more intimate, upscale alternative to the island's giant clubs.

Ibiza’s Food Scene Gets Its Moment

NYLON recommends Elia, overlooking Talamanca Bay, for Greek-inspired dining and sunset views towards Dalt Vila and Formentera.

Monkey on San Antonio's Sunset Strip gets a recommendation for French-Mediterranean food, cocktails, music and sunset views.

Then comes the complete opposite of luxury dining: Fish Shack.

The guide praises the simple experience of fresh fish cooked over the fire, wooden chairs and the Mediterranean just metres away.

The shopping section takes a particularly fashion-focused look at the island.

NYLON highlights Louvelle, Archive Closet, Annie's Ibiza, After Sun Ibiza and Vicente Ganesha.

The selections range from vintage designer clothing to handmade accessories and colourful pieces inspired by Ibiza's bohemian style.

The guide particularly celebrates Vicente Ganesha as an Ibiza institution, describing it as a portal into an older version of the island and noting its long history of attracting major names including Kate Moss, Naomi Campbell and Dua Lipa.
