Ibiza Bus Services to Change on Sunday Due to Mobility Day Road Closures

19 de September de 2026

Public transport services in Ibiza will be temporarily modified on Sunday, September 20, as road closures for the island's Mobility Days affect Avenida Isidor Macabich in Ibiza Town.

The changes will be in place from 07:00 to 19:00, with several bus routes diverted and two stops removed from service during the closures.

The affected stops are Avenida Isidor Macabich, 4, and Parc de la Pau. The changes have been announced by the Transport Department of the Consell de Ibiza and are also listed by Alsa Ibiza.

Fourteen bus lines affected

The temporary changes affect 14 routes serving Ibiza Town and the CETIS bus station.

Passengers using the airport, urban and interurban services should check their route before travelling, particularly if their journey normally passes through the CETIS, Ignasi Wallis or Figueretes areas.

The affected services are AERO2, AERO3, UE10, T2, U2B, U4, T3, UE3, T1, T6, U12, U2A, U7 and UE8.

Airport and UE services

AERO2, AERO3 and UE10 will operate alternative routes around the affected section.

On services travelling from the port without entering the CETIS, buses will travel via Ignasi Wallis, BFIT and Avenida de la Pau before rejoining their normal routes around the McDonald's roundabout.

When travelling towards the CETIS via Vilapark, these services will use Ignasi Wallis, BFIT and Vilapark before reaching the station.

T2, U2B and U4

The T2, U2B and U4 routes heading towards the CETIS and using the underground-level stop will also be diverted.

From Delta Discos, buses will travel through Ignasi Wallis, BFIT, Vilapark and the Figueretes roundabout before reaching the CETIS.

Services approaching the CETIS via Vilapark will follow Delta Discos, Ignasi Wallis, BFIT and Vilapark before continuing to the station.

T3 and UE3

The T3 and UE3 will travel directly to BFIT before continuing through Vilapark to the CETIS.

The T3 will not enter Ignasi Wallis while the temporary traffic restrictions are in place.

Routes using Policía Nacional

Additional changes will affect services approaching the CETIS via Policía Nacional.

The T1 will travel from Can Misses through Vilapark, Figueretes and Policía Nacional before reaching the CETIS.

The T6 will travel from Can Misses through Figueretes and Policía Nacional.

The U12, U2A and U7 will travel from BFIT through Vilapark, Figueretes and Policía Nacional to the CETIS.

UE8 route changes

The UE8 will also follow a temporary route.

On services that do not travel up to Dalt Vila, buses will use Ignasi Wallis, BFIT, Vilapark, Figueretes and Policía Nacional before reaching the CETIS.

In the direction of Dalt Vila, buses will leave the CETIS via Vilapark and Figueretes before continuing along Avenida de España.

Why are the changes happening?

The temporary diversions are linked to the Mobility Days activities taking place in Ibiza Town.

Traffic restrictions will be imposed on Avenida Isidor Macabich between 07:00 and 19:00 on Sunday, requiring buses to use alternative routes.

The measures are temporary and are scheduled to end when the road restrictions are lifted.

Passengers advised to allow extra time

Transport authorities are advising passengers to check the temporary routes before setting off and allow additional time for their journeys.

The changes are particularly relevant for people travelling to or from the CETIS, Ibiza port, Can Misses, Figueretes and central Ibiza Town.

The Alsa Ibiza network has been operating under its renewed service structure since April 1, 2026, and the operator has published the September 20 diversions alongside its regular service information.

Temporary disruption for Sunday

The changes affect a single day and are scheduled for the period of the Mobility Days road closures on September 20.

Passengers using one of the 14 affected routes should check the temporary itinerary before travelling, particularly during the 07:00 to 19:00 restriction period.

Normal routes are expected to resume once the traffic restrictions are lifted.
