October 22, 2026

This Thursday, October 22, 2026, visitors can explore Stefan Brüggemann's Cel d’Or at MACE in Dalt Vila, Hans Grass's I en la mar, els somnis at Museu Puget, Together by Renate and Annabelle Widmann at Club Diario de Ibiza, Ned Irving's In the Flow at Can Tixedó Art Café in Forada, and Marta Torres's Peregrinas at Hotel Ánfora in Es Canar.

From contemporary conceptual art and photography inspired by water to a mother-and-daughter artistic collaboration and an exhibition exploring visual and sensory experiences, these five exhibitions offer opportunities to discover Ibiza's cultural scene during the autumn season.

1. Cel d’Or by Stefan Brüggemann at MACE

Contemporary artist Stefan Brüggemann transforms the historic Sala d'Armes at MACE, the Museu d'Art Contemporani d'Eivissa, with Cel d’Or, a site-specific exhibition exploring language, architecture and perception.

Brüggemann, who works between Ibiza, London and Mexico City, is known for an artistic practice that examines how language and visual forms shape the way people interpret reality. His work draws on conceptual and post-conceptual art, using text, appropriation and minimal structures to question established meanings.

In Cel d’Or, the museum's architecture becomes an integral part of the artwork. Walls, columns, windows, light and views towards the outside contribute to the experience, creating a dialogue between the historic exhibition space and the contemporary intervention.

Rather than presenting a conventional collection of paintings, the exhibition invites visitors to move through the Sala d'Armes and experience how the space changes their perception of the work. The relationship between the visible and the hidden, as well as the interaction between interior and exterior, forms an important part of the installation.

The exhibition opened on June 20 and continues until November 15, 2026. It is an opportunity to explore contemporary art inside one of Ibiza's most distinctive historic settings.

2. I en la mar, els somnis by Hans Grass at Museu Puget

The connection between Ibiza's artistic heritage and the Mediterranean landscape continues at Museu Puget, where I en la mar, els somnis presents the work of Swiss artist Hans Grass.

The exhibition forms part of the museum's cultural programme in Dalt Vila, offering visitors an opportunity to discover an artist whose work is associated with the landscapes, atmosphere and everyday life of the Pityusic Islands.

The title, which references the sea and dreams, provides an evocative starting point for exploring the relationship between artistic imagination and the Mediterranean environment. The exhibition sits within the wider setting of Museu Puget, whose collection includes paintings and watercolours by Narcís Puget Riquer and Narcís Puget Viñas, documenting Ibiza's landscapes and daily life.

The museum occupies a historic building in the heart of Dalt Vila, making the visit easy to combine with a walk through the old town's narrow streets and along its historic fortifications.

The Hans Grass exhibition opened on July 3 and is scheduled to continue until December 31, 2026. Visitors can therefore discover it throughout the autumn and winter cultural season.

3. Together by Renate and Annabelle Widmann at Club Diario de Ibiza

A mother and daughter bring their artistic worlds together in Together, an exhibition at Club Diario de Ibiza that explores their relationship through nearly four decades of creative development.

Presented under the Spanish title Juntas. Madre e hija, the exhibition marks the first time Renate Widmann and her daughter Annabelle Widmann have exhibited their work together in Ibiza.

The collection follows their artistic journeys through different stages of life, bringing together early childhood drawings, portraits, paintings, watercolours, sculptures, photographs, costumes and audiovisual works. The variety of media reflects the different directions taken by the two artists while highlighting the family connection that runs through the exhibition.

Renate Widmann is a painter and sculptor whose work has been influenced by Ibiza's distinctive light and colours. Annabelle, who works under the name ellebannA, has developed a creative practice focused on costume design, performance and the construction of artistic characters.

The exhibition provides an opportunity to see how two creative identities can evolve independently while continuing to influence one another.

Visitors can also look out for additional events during the exhibition. An artists' conversation is scheduled for October 26, followed by a closing celebration and performance on October 30.

Together remains open until October 30, with free admission during the published morning and evening visiting hours.

4. In the Flow by Ned Irving at Can Tixedó Art Café

Water, reflections and movement take centre stage in In the Flow, an exhibition by photographer Ned Irving at Can Tixedó Art Café in Forada.

The exhibition continues Irving's exploration of the aquatic environment, following his earlier photographic project Under the Surface. In this collection, he presents new images in which figures, light and water appear to interact, creating compositions shaped by movement and reflection.

Rather than documenting the sea simply as a landscape, the photographs focus on the changing relationship between people and water. Reflections, shifting surfaces and the movement of the human body become part of the image, giving the collection a visual language that sits between photography and abstraction.

Organised with the collaboration of Olas Gallery, In the Flow opened on October 9 and continues until November 29, 2026. The extended exhibition period offers visitors several more weeks to discover Irving's work.

Can Tixedó Art Café is located in Forada, in Ibiza's countryside, providing a relaxed setting in which to combine an exhibition visit with a meal or drink.

The exhibition forms part of Ibiza's autumn cultural programme, bringing contemporary art into a hotel setting. Its presentation encourages visitors to engage with the works through their own impressions and emotional responses.

The exhibition opened on October 2 with a vernissage featuring live music and a distinctive invitation for guests to wear a pink garment or accessory. The opening's playful detail introduced the evocative and intimate atmosphere associated with the project.
