Las Dalias Marks International Day of Peace With Music, Wishes and Candlelight

September 19, 2026

Las Dalias will mark the International Day of Peace on Monday, September 21, with a special evening combining its Night Market, Peace ’n’ Music, music, family activities and a collective candle-lighting.

The event will take place at Las Dalias in San Carlos and is built around the theme “One wish, one light, one night for peace.”

The programme is part of the regular Monday Peace ’n’ Music series, but has been expanded for the occasion with several activities focused specifically on peace and community.

Peace Day at Las Dalias

The United Nations International Day of Peace is observed annually on September 21.

Las Dalias is marking the date with a special edition of Peace ’n’ Music alongside its Night Market.

The Garden programme is scheduled from 19:00 to 23:00, with music, the Night Market and activities taking place throughout the evening.

The Night Market

The evening begins with the Night Market, Las Dalias' nighttime version of its traditional market.

The market brings together stalls selling crafts, fashion, food and other products in an outdoor setting illuminated by the venue's lamps.

The September 21 event therefore combines the regular market atmosphere with the special Peace Day programme rather than operating as a separate standalone festival.

Peace ’n’ Music in the Garden

The Garden will host a special edition of Peace ’n’ Music from 19:00 until 23:00.

The official Las Dalias programme lists DJ Pippi for the Garden, with his set described as The Original Dance Music.

Peace ’n’ Music has been running on Mondays during the 2026 season, continuing the venue's programme inspired by the musical and cultural spirit associated with the 1960s and 1970s.

The Wishing Tree

One of the evening's central activities will be the Wishing Tree.

Visitors will be able to write a wish for peace and leave it among the branches of the tree.

The activity gives guests a simple way to participate directly in the theme of the evening rather than simply watching a performance.

A light for peace

As night falls, attendees will also be invited to take part in a collective candle-lighting.

The moment, described as “A light for peace”, is intended as a shared gesture bringing the people at the venue together.

The candle-lighting forms one of the two main symbolic elements of the special programme, alongside the Wishing Tree.

A family-friendly evening

The Peace Day programme also includes a Kids Area.

This allows families with children to take part in the evening while the Night Market and Garden activities continue around them.

The event is therefore not presented solely as a nightlife programme, with the organisers specifically incorporating activities for younger visitors.

The evening continues at Akasha

The programme moves into Akasha Ibiza from 23:00.

Willie Graff will take over with a House Music All Night Long set.

Entry to the Garden and Night Market is free, while the Akasha section requires a separate ticket. Current event information lists Akasha tickets at €15 online and €20 at the door.

Las Dalias and the idea of peace

Las Dalias has long associated its identity with music, creativity and community.

The venue dates its history in San Carlos to 1985, and its cultural identity has developed around the market, music and events hosted at the site.

The Peace Day programme uses that existing setting rather than creating a new temporary venue, placing the focus on gathering people together through music and shared activities.

Peace ’n’ Music continues through September

The September 21 event forms part of the broader 2026 Peace ’n’ Music programme, which runs on Mondays through September 28.

The following Monday, September 28, is listed as the Peace ’n’ Music closing party, with DJ Pippi and Willie Graff again appearing across the Garden and Akasha programme.

A night built around a simple message

Las Dalias' Peace Day programme is deliberately straightforward: music in the Garden, a Night Market, space for children, a place to leave a wish for peace and a shared candle-lighting as darkness arrives.

For visitors and residents in Ibiza, the September 21 event offers a way to mark the International Day of Peace within one of the island's established cultural and music venues.

The evening begins in the Garden and Night Market before continuing into Akasha, creating a programme that moves from a family-friendly community gathering into a late-night music session.
