Teatro Pereyra takes another turn towards Latin music this Saturday, September 19, as La Cucaracha returns to the historic Ibiza Town venue for another late-night celebration combining DJs, live music, dancing and a broad selection of Latin sounds.

The party begins at 23:30, with tickets currently available from €20 for entry before 01:00. Standard admission currently starts at €25. The event is strictly 18+, there is no re-entry and guests should bring valid identification.

La Cucaracha arrived in Ibiza in 2026 following its development in Madrid and Puerto Rico. Rather than concentrating on one particular Latin style, the concept brings together salsa, merengue, bachata, boogaloo, classic reggaeton and contemporary Latin sounds, alongside live performances, dancing and DJ sets.

The format is designed as a collective experience, with live music and DJs sharing the spotlight rather than relying solely on a traditional club lineup. The project has also incorporated vinyl and digital DJ sets into its Ibiza programme, creating a musical journey that moves between classic Latin sounds and more contemporary urban influences.

Saturday's event forms part of La Cucaracha's 2026 Ibiza residency at Teatro Pereyra, which began on July 4 and runs throughout July, August and September. The residency was introduced as the concept's first regular Ibiza season, bringing its Madrid and Puerto Rico-inspired format to the island every Saturday.

Teatro Pereyra is particularly suited to the concept. The historic venue in Ibiza Town dates back to 1898 and has long had a connection with live music and cultural performances. La Cucaracha uses that setting for a night that places live entertainment and audience participation alongside its Latin-focused soundtrack.

There are only two La Cucaracha dates currently listed after the September 19 edition, with the final scheduled party taking place on Saturday, September 26. Both dates are listed from €20, with doors opening at 23:30.

Guests should also pay attention to the venue's entry rules. Teatro Pereyra does not permit beachwear, swimwear, uncovered torsos, sleeveless tops, flip-flops or open shoes. Suitcases, backpacks, bags and packages are also prohibited, and the venue reserves the right of admission.

For September 19, La Cucaracha offers something distinctly different from Ibiza's electronic-heavy Saturday calendar. With salsa, merengue, bachata, classic reggaeton, live music, dancing and DJs all part of the format, the evening brings a distinctly Latin character to one of Ibiza Town's historic nightlife spaces.
