Global Underground is expanding its 30th-anniversary Ibiza celebration into a two-day event, adding Café del Mar to its previously announced takeover of 528 Ibiza.

The celebration will now take place on Thursday, October 1 at 528 Ibiza and Friday, October 2 at Café del Mar in Sant Antoni de Portmany, bringing the Global Underground name to two of Ibiza's best-known music venues across consecutive nights.

Two Venues, One Ticket

The original Global Underground event at 528 Ibiza remains confirmed for Thursday, October 1.

A second date has now been added at Café del Mar on Friday, October 2, creating a two-venue celebration.

Organisers say the same ticket provides access to both nights, meaning existing ticket holders for the October 1 event can also attend the newly added Café del Mar date.

October 1 at 528 Ibiza

The first night runs from 17:00 on Thursday, October 1 until 04:00 on Friday morning.

The event is divided between the Garden Amphitheatre and the indoor 528 Club.

Deep Dish and Guy J will headline the Garden stage before the programme moves indoors at 23:00.

Deep Dish will appear at the 528 Garden Amphitheatre alongside Guy J.

The appearance marks another Global Underground date for Deep Dish, who returned to the series earlier in 2026 with GU49: Dublin.

Guy J is also closely connected with the label's current output, having featured on GU48: Córdoba.

Their sets will provide the main outdoor programme before the Garden closes at 23:00.

The Night Continues Inside 528

From 23:00, the event moves into the 528 Club.

Dave Seaman, James Zabiela and Patrice Bäumel will take over the indoor space for the remainder of the night.

The three artists represent different chapters of Global Underground's long-running history, with Seaman associated with several of the series' classic city compilations.

Bäumel and Zabiela bring more recent chapters of the label's electronic-music catalogue into the Ibiza event.

October 2 at Café del Mar

The second day moves to Café del Mar in Sant Antoni on Friday, October 2.

The programme begins at 18:00, allowing the event to coincide with sunset on Ibiza's west coast.

Lloyd Barwood is currently the only confirmed artist announced for the second night, with additional names still to be revealed.

Lloyd Barwood will provide the main announced musical focus for the Café del Mar date.

The progressive-house producer has released music on several labels within the broader underground electronic scene and has received support from artists including Sasha, Henry Saiz and Eelke Kleijn.

From Sunset Into the Night

The October 2 format is designed around Café del Mar's location on the Sant Antoni waterfront.

Music begins from 18:00, with the sunset forming part of the event setting before the programme continues indoors later in the evening.

Organisers say ticket holders will have exclusive access to Café del Mar after sunset, with the music continuing into the early hours.

Global Underground Turns 30

The Ibiza event forms part of Global Underground's 30th-anniversary celebrations.

The label was launched in 1996 and has built its identity around DJ mix albums connected to major cities and destinations around the world.

Its catalogue has featured artists including Sasha, Deep Dish, Carl Cox, Solomun, Paul Oakenfold and Danny Tenaglia.

The anniversary year also includes the forthcoming THIRTY release, featuring 30 new exclusive tracks by 30 artists.

A Long Connection With Ibiza

Ibiza has been an important part of Global Underground's history since the early years of the series.

The label's city-focused releases have documented sets associated with some of the island's most influential electronic-music periods.

The 2026 celebration brings that history back to the island while using a combination of established Global Underground names and more contemporary progressive and techno artists.

The first night takes place at 528 Ibiza in the Benimussa Hills, with the programme divided between the Garden Amphitheatre and the indoor Club.

The following evening moves to Sant Antoni's famous sunset venue, Café del Mar.
