“Pulsión Creadora y, Algoritmo Intuitivo?” Brings Art and AI Debate to Sant Antoni

October 01, 2026

A new group exhibition exploring the relationship between art, technology and artificial intelligence opens at the Walter Benjamin Hall at Espai Cultural Sa Punta des Molí in Sant Antoni on Friday, October 2.

Titled “Pulsión Creadora y, Algoritmo Intuitivo?”, the exhibition is presented by the Núcleo Art Ibiza collective and brings together 12 artists working across a range of artistic disciplines. The opening takes place at 19:30, with the exhibition continuing until October 24, 2026.

Can artificial intelligence create art?

The exhibition takes its starting point from an open question: can artificial intelligence create art?

Rather than offering a single answer, the participating artists explore different aspects of the creative process, including intuition, risk, error, inner exploration and the personal development of the artist.

The exhibition places these human elements alongside the logic and possibilities of algorithms, inviting visitors to consider how technology is changing artistic practice and where the role of the artist sits within that process.

Twelve artists and multiple disciplines

The exhibition brings together Vicente Torres Noguera, Gustavo Eznarriaga, Miquel Farriol, Romani, Bonet Vallribera, Carles Fabregat, Goya Sandic, Adrián Cardona, Caen Botto, Ezequiel Herrera, Mr. Mini and Elizabeth Rose Langford.

Their work spans painting, sculpture, installation, video art, new media, digital art and synthetic music. Musician Vinsent is participating as a guest artist.

The variety of media allows the exhibition to approach the subject of artificial intelligence from different creative perspectives rather than through a single artistic format.

AI as a creative tool

One of the central ideas explored by the exhibition is the role of artificial intelligence as a tool within the creative process.

The exhibition materials present AI as another instrument available to artists, while maintaining a focus on the human elements involved in creating a work, including intuition, experimentation, mistakes and personal experience.

This places the emphasis on the interaction between technology and human creativity, rather than treating the exhibition as a straightforward presentation of AI-generated artwork.

At Sa Punta des Molí

The exhibition is being held in the Walter Benjamin Hall at the Espai Cultural Sa Punta des Molí, a cultural space located beside the sea at the end of s'Arenal beach in Sant Antoni.

The exhibition opens on Friday, October 2 at 19:30.

After the opening, visitors can see the exhibition from Tuesday to Friday between 17:00 and 20:00, and on Saturdays from 10:00 to 14:00 and from 17:00 to 20:00. It is closed on Sundays, Mondays and public holidays.

Admission is free.
