EDC Las Vegas will expand into a 12-day, two-weekend experience in May 2027, with Insomniac revealing a programme that will take the festival beyond the Las Vegas Motor Speedway and into venues and spaces across the city.
The expanded edition will operate under the Dusk Till Dawn concept, running from May 13 to 24, 2027.
The main festival weekends will take place at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway, with EDC Dusk running from May 14 to 16 and EDC Dawn from May 21 to 23.
Two festival weekends, one 12-day experience
For the first time, EDC Las Vegas will take place across two consecutive weekends.
EDC Dusk will open the first festival weekend from May 14 to 16, followed by EDC Dawn from May 21 to 23.
The festival's lineup has not yet been announced, but Insomniac has confirmed that the same lineup will perform across both weekends.
The six main festival days will be surrounded by additional events and experiences across Las Vegas, creating the wider 12-day Dusk Till Dawn programme.
Pop-up parties across Las Vegas
Insomniac has announced a series of pop-up events and parties that will take place away from the main festival grounds.
The programme will use a variety of spaces around the city, including clubs, warehouses, art galleries, city landmarks and other locations.
Opening and closing parties will bookend both festival weekends, with additional events planned at Camp EDC and throughout Las Vegas.
Some events will be free for Dusk Till Dawn Headliners, although other experiences will be ticketed.
World Party Parade returns
The World Party Parade will return for a second year following its debut in 2026.
The free, all-ages event will bring electronic music, performers and festivalgoers onto the streets of Las Vegas in a celebration of dance music culture.
Insomniac describes the parade as a family-friendly experience designed to bring people from around the world together.
New Map Point Summit
One of the new additions for 2027 is the Map Point Summit, a gathering focused on electronic music, rave culture and the wider dance music community.
The concept takes its name from the tradition of using map points to guide people to underground rave locations.
The new summit will explore different paths into electronic music and the industry surrounding it.
It will be hosted at Hotel EDC, with further information about its programme and ticketing still to come.
Beyond The Rave Art Show
EDC will also introduce Beyond The Rave, a new art exhibition focused on the visual culture surrounding rave and electronic music.
The free exhibition will run throughout all 12 days of the Dusk Till Dawn experience at Hotel EDC.
It will feature photography, graffiti, paintings, rave flyers, posters, sculptures, collectibles and other works connected to electronic music culture.
The exhibition will combine work from established artists with contributions from artists within the electronic music community.
Insomniac Concept Store
Another new feature will be the first dedicated Insomniac Concept Store.
The store will bring together fashion, merchandise, limited-edition releases and special collaborations created for the 12 Days of EDC.
Visitors can also expect artist meet-and-greets, special DJ appearances and a vinyl section featuring both contemporary and older electronic music releases.
The store will be located at Hotel EDC and will remain open throughout the 12-day programme.
Camp EDC goes 12 days
Camp EDC will also become part of the extended format.
For the first time, campers will be able to stay at Camp EDC throughout the entire Dusk Till Dawn period, allowing them to remain between the two festival weekends rather than leaving after EDC Dusk.
Each festival weekend will begin with an opening party at The Mesa, running from sunset into the early morning.
Monday morning after-parties will follow the main festival weekends, while the period between EDC Dusk and EDC Dawn will feature wellness activities, creative workshops, a retro arcade, live painting, Vendor Village, art installations and additional parties.
Hotel EDC expands
Hotel EDC at Virgin Hotels Las Vegas will also become a central part of the 12-day programme.
The hotel will host a mixture of free and ticketed experiences, including pool parties, after-parties, wellness activities, beauty and glam services and other interactive programming.
It will also house the Insomniac Concept Store and Map Point Summit.
The festival itself remains at Las Vegas Motor Speedway
Despite the expansion across Las Vegas, the main EDC festival remains at its long-time home, Las Vegas Motor Speedway.
The venue will host EDC Dusk from May 14 to 16 and EDC Dawn from May 21 to 23.
Insomniac previously confirmed that the 2027 festival is being designed with a lower capacity, with the stated aim of creating more space on the dancefloor while also making travel and accommodation easier for attendees.
EDC Las Vegas was ranked No. 2 in DJ Mag's 2026 Top 100 Festivals poll, highlighting its position among the world's leading electronic music festivals.
A new chapter for EDC Las Vegas
The 2027 edition represents one of the biggest format changes in EDC Las Vegas history.
Rather than concentrating the experience around three nights, Insomniac is turning the event into a broader 12-day programme combining two festival weekends with parties, camping, art, music, community events, retail and educational experiences across Las Vegas.
The full Dusk Till Dawn experience will run from May 13 to 24, 2027, while the two main EDC weekends will take place on May 14-16 and May 21-23.
The artist lineup is still to be announced, leaving the music programme as the next major piece of the expanded 2027 edition to be revealed.
