Tuesday, October 6 is a strong day for discovering Ibiza's creative side, with major contemporary art exhibitions, an evening food tour through Ibiza Town and two exhibitions exploring very different aspects of the island's cultural history.

Naturaleza Interior by Carlos Jacanamijoy at La Nave Salinas on Tuesday, October 6

Fundación La Nave Salinas presents Naturaleza Interior, a solo exhibition by Colombian artist Carlos Jacanamijoy inside the foundation's permanent exhibition space in the Ses Salines area.

Jacanamijoy's paintings are rooted in his relationship with colour, nature, memory and the spiritual world. Drawing on his Inga heritage, his work transforms forests, water, animal life and other elements of the natural world into vibrant, dreamlike interior landscapes.

The exhibition opened on July 14 and remains on view until October 30. La Nave Salinas currently lists weekday opening hours from 10:00 to 18:00, making Tuesday, October 6 an opportunity to experience the exhibition during the final weeks of the season.

Ibiza Food Tours in Ibiza Town on Tuesday, October 6

Ibiza Food Tours takes visitors through the historic streets of Ibiza Town in search of local dishes, traditional flavours and the stories behind the island's food culture.

The Original Food Tour lasts approximately three hours and visits four carefully selected local eateries, where guests can try dishes such as traditional tapas and Iberian ham while learning more about Ibiza's culinary traditions.

The tour starts at 18:00 from the Hippy Statue in Ibiza Port. It is a small-group experience with a maximum of 12 guests, and participants must be aged 14 or over.

Pulsión Creadora y, Algoritmo Intuitivo? at Sa Punta des Molí on Tuesday, October 6

The Walter Benjamin exhibition hall at Espai Cultural Sa Punta des Molí in Sant Antoni hosts Pulsión Creadora y, Algoritmo Intuitivo?, a group exhibition examining the relationship between human creativity and artificial intelligence.

The Núcleo Art Ibiza collective brings together twelve artists working across painting, sculpture, installation, video art, new media, digital art and synthetic music. The exhibition asks where creativity, intuition and authorship sit when technology becomes part of the artistic process.

The exhibition runs from October 2 to 24. On Tuesday, October 6, it is open from 17:00 to 20:00 and admission is free.

Instants by Camille Villegas at ADDA Gallery Ibiza on Tuesday, October 6

ADDA Gallery at Paradiso Ibiza Art Hotel presents Instants, the first solo exhibition in Ibiza by Camille Villegas, a designer whose professional career has included work with major international fashion houses.

The exhibition brings together drawings, collages and photographs, moving away from the conventional language of fashion design and into a more personal contemporary art practice. Villegas uses fragmentation, repetition and shifting perspectives to create works that explore movement, distance and perception.

Instants opened on September 5 and remains on display until October 24. On October 6, the gallery is open from 17:00 to 22:00.

The Temple of Excess at Studio 55 Gallery on Tuesday, October 6

Studio 55 presents The Temple of Excess: Ibiza, Myth and the Manumission Era, a photographic exhibition by Victor Spinelli looking back at one of the most recognisable chapters of Ibiza's club culture.

Spinelli spent five summers between 2001 and 2006 documenting Manumission, capturing the people, costumes, performances and behind-the-scenes atmosphere surrounding the legendary club night. The exhibition brings together photographs from that period, drawing from his Camera Verité series and the work later collected in Manumission Reflections.

Studio 55's current programme lists the exhibition through October 10, with visiting hours from 17:00 to 21:00. Entry is free.
