Sant Antoni de Portmany will host a major national inline skating competition on Saturday, 7 and Sunday, 8 November 2026, as the 2nd Division of Spain's National Inline Freestyle League arrives on the island for the first venue of the 2026/2027 season. The event will bring together 16 clubs from across Spain, including the men's team of local club Ibiza Patina, for two days of speed, technical challenges and freestyle performances.
Taking place at Pabellón Siroko Sa Pedrera, within the Can Coix sports complex, the competition will feature women's and men's categories across four disciplines: Battle, Speed Slalom, Slides and Jump. Admission is free, giving spectators an opportunity to discover one of the most dynamic disciplines in competitive roller sports.
16 Clubs from Across Spain Compete in Ibiza
The competition will bring together 16 clubs representing different parts of Spain, with Ibiza Patina participating as the host club.
The event forms part of the official national league organised by the Royal Spanish Skating Federation (RFEP), with the local organisation led by Club Ibiza Patina.
The competition will feature both female and male participants, with four different disciplines testing technical ability, speed, precision, balance and creativity.
For Ibiza Patina, hosting a national-level competition also provides an opportunity to showcase the island's growing involvement in inline freestyle and welcome clubs and athletes travelling from mainland Spain and other parts of the country.
Four Inline Freestyle Disciplines Across Two Days
The programme is divided across the weekend, with three disciplines taking place on Saturday and the Battle competitions scheduled for Sunday.
Saturday, 7 November: Jump, Speed Slalom and Slides
The first day begins with the Jump discipline, where competitors demonstrate their jumping ability and technical control.
The women's competition will take place from 09:00 to 10:20, followed by the men's category from 10:20 to 11:35.
Speed Slalom follows, combining speed and precision as skaters navigate a line of cones as quickly as possible.
The programme includes two formats:
The afternoon is dedicated to Slides, a discipline focused on controlled skating slides and technical execution.
Sunday, 8 November: Battle
The second day is dedicated to Battle, a freestyle competition in which skaters demonstrate their technical skills through individual performances.
The women's category will run from 09:30 to 12:00, followed by the men's competition from 12:00 to 14:20.
Across both days, spectators will be able to watch different aspects of inline freestyle, from speed-based challenges to creative technical performances.
Ibiza Patina and the Growth of Inline Freestyle on the Island
The event is organised by the Royal Spanish Skating Federation and Club Ibiza Patina, with the collaboration of Sant Antoni Town Council and the Balearic Islands Skating Federation.
The inclusion of Ibiza as the first venue of the 2026/2027 Second Division season highlights the island's participation in Spain's national inline freestyle competition circuit.
The host club's men's team will compete alongside clubs travelling from different regions, making the weekend an opportunity to follow the sport at national level without leaving Ibiza.
