Meet IAA TUU!, the Five Ibiza Friends Bringing Sa Breix’s ‘Pagesa-Glam’ Party to Sant Rafel

October 15, 2026

A group of five friends from Sant Jordi de ses Salines is taking its colourful, distinctly Ibizan party concept to a new village this weekend. IAA TUU!, the young collective behind Sa Breix, will bring its blend of rural traditions, glitter, local artists and music from different eras to Sant Rafel on Saturday, 17 October 2026, marking the first time the party has taken place outside its home village.

The programme forms part of the Festes de Sant Rafel and combines an unusual throwing championship with an evening of live performances and dancing. The event is free to attend, with activities beginning at 18:30.

At the heart of Sa Breix is a simple idea: create something for people on the island, particularly younger generations, without taking itself too seriously or losing touch with Ibiza’s identity.

Five Friends Turn an Idea into a Party with Its Own Identity

IAA TUU! consists of Raúl Coronado, Cynthia Domínguez, Toni Coronado, Cristian Marí and Estibaliz Lastra, five friends from Sant Jordi who began organising activities together in 2024.

Their first initiative was Sa Caseta IAA TUU!, a small bar stall at Sant Jordi’s village festivities, organised with the involvement of the Grup Folklòric Sant Jordi de ses Salines. After taking a break in 2025 to think about new ideas, the group returned in 2026 with Sa Breix.

The party began as an informal idea among friends: a celebration inspired by pagesa culture, the traditional rural identity of Ibiza, but given a colourful and contemporary twist. Its name playfully references Bresh, the well-known party concept, while Sa Breix has developed its own local character.

The result is a combination of traditional references and modern party culture, designed to bring people together rather than impose a particular idea of what a village celebration should look like.

What Does ‘Pagesa-Glam’ Mean?

The phrase camp i glamur captures the look and feel of Sa Breix. Bright bubblegum pink and glitter are mixed with agricultural tools and rural imagery, creating a playful contrast between Ibiza’s countryside traditions and contemporary pop culture.

One of the party’s recognisable symbols is a hoe decorated in pink and gold. A pagesa-inspired bear also features in the party’s visual identity, helping give the event a distinctive look that is easy to recognise.

Music is just as varied. Rather than focusing on one genre, Sa Breix moves between reggaeton, rock, pop and songs from different eras, responding to the crowd and aiming to keep the dance floor accessible to different generations.

That combination is central to the collective’s approach: respect Ibiza’s traditions, but leave room for humour, colour and new ideas.

Sa Breix Heads to Sant Rafel for the First Time

On Saturday, 17 October, the group will stage Sa Breix outside Sant Jordi for the first time, bringing its concept to the Festes de Sant Rafel.

The opportunity came through the Sant Rafel neighbourhood association, and the organisers decided to see how the event would work in a different village setting. They are not presenting the move as the start of a permanent travelling party. Instead, they want to keep developing ideas at their own pace and avoid organising events so frequently that the experience becomes exhausting for the group or its audience.

The programme opens at 18:30 with the second edition of the Campionat Mundial de Llançament de Carretó i Espardenya, a light-hearted wheelbarrow-and-espadrille throwing championship that was introduced at the first Sa Breix in Sant Jordi.

The carretó competition is for adults, with men's and women's categories, while the espardenya event is open to everyone. It is a deliberately unusual addition to the village festivities, combining competition and rural humour.

At 20:30, Sa Breix begins in the Sant Rafel festival marquee. Invited local artists will perform alongside a varied musical programme, with guitarists, dancers, beatbox, drums accompanied by castanets and a traditional ballada popular among the elements announced. Organisers have also teased further surprises.

The event is free, and the party is intended to continue for as long as the crowd and the organisers have the energy.

Why Local Initiatives Matter to Ibiza

For IAA TUU!, Sa Breix is more than a party. The five friends see village festivities and local associations as important spaces where younger people can contribute, experiment and take responsibility for community events.

They believe younger generations should be given the opportunity to try their ideas, take risks and learn along the way. The group says its own experience was made possible because others allowed them to organise activities in their own way.

Their perspective also reflects a wider aspect of Ibiza that can be overlooked by the island’s international nightlife image: the social life of its villages, the work of local associations and the traditions that bring neighbours together beyond the tourist season.

Sa Breix does not reject contemporary party culture. Instead, it combines that energy with rural imagery, local performers and the communal atmosphere of a village celebration.
