UD Ibiza’s new second kit for the 2026/27 season appears to have been revealed ahead of its official presentation, after technical partner Brain Dead published images of the new collection online.

The Los Angeles-based brand shared images showing what appears to be the club’s second playing kit alongside accompanying merchandise. The publication initially appeared without directly identifying UD Ibiza, before the club was subsequently tagged and the content appeared as a collaboration between the two brands.

An Early Look at the New Kit

The images give supporters an early look at a much more distinctive design than the club’s traditional Ibiza blue.

The shirt features a bold reptile-style pattern, which has been interpreted as a possible reference to the Ibiza lizard, the island's endemic sargantana. That connection has not been officially confirmed by UD Ibiza or Brain Dead, so it remains an interpretation of the design rather than an announced source of inspiration.

A grey sweatshirt featuring white and pink details also appears as part of the wider collection.

From Accidental Post to Joint Release

The initial Brain Dead post reportedly made no direct reference to UD Ibiza, describing the project instead as a collaboration with a small team from an island known for its music and culture.

The post was subsequently edited several times, with UD Ibiza first being added and later removed before the content appeared as a joint publication featuring the club.

That sequence has led to speculation over whether the early appearance was an unintended leak or part of the planned marketing campaign. There has been no official statement confirming that the original publication was accidental.

Brain Dead Becomes UD Ibiza’s Technical Partner

The collection forms part of a new multi-year partnership between Brain Dead and UD Ibiza that began with the 2026/27 season.

Under the agreement announced in May, Brain Dead became the club’s Official Technical Sponsor and took responsibility for the creative direction and development of the team's official match kits, training wear, travel apparel and lifestyle collections.

The collaboration represents a significant shift in the club’s visual approach, combining football with fashion, art, music and contemporary culture.

Collection Launches September 22

Although the second kit has appeared ahead of its formal presentation, the wider Brain Dead x UD Ibiza collection already has an official launch date.

Brain Dead’s dedicated collaboration page states that the collection will launch in-store and online on Tuesday, September 22. The brand's website also currently promotes the collaboration alongside links to both Brain Dead and UD Ibiza.

That launch is expected to make the shirts and accompanying lifestyle pieces officially available to supporters and customers.

Another Unusual Chapter in UD Ibiza’s New Identity

The early appearance of the second kit follows an eventful start to the Brain Dead partnership.

The club's first 2026/27 shirt was introduced earlier in the season as part of the new collaboration, with Brain Dead responsible for creating a visual identity intended to extend beyond conventional football merchandise.

The second design takes that approach further, using a much more unconventional graphic style and placing the Ibiza identity firmly at the centre of the collaboration.
