Pascual, a six-year-old Vietnamese pot-bellied pig, is still waiting to find a new home in Ibiza after an adoption appeal first shared in September failed to secure a suitable place for him.

A renewed appeal on Facebook is seeking someone on the island who can offer Pascual the space and outdoor environment he needs. The search highlights that finding a home for an animal involves more than finding an available adopter: the new environment must also be appropriate for its needs.

Pascual’s case was still unresolved when it was reported on 14 October 2026, around a month after the original appeal began circulating on social media.

What Kind of Home Does Pascual Need?

The original appeal explained that Pascual needs access to a plot of land, a finca or a garden where he can move around naturally and root in the ground.

These conditions were identified by his previous owners as important for his outdoor wellbeing. Although the latest announcement did not repeat the full list of requirements, the original appeal provides the clearest available indication of the type of home being sought.

Anyone considering adopting Pascual should therefore make sure they can provide suitable outdoor space and should confirm the full requirements directly with the person coordinating the search.

How to Offer Pascual a Home

People in Ibiza who believe they can provide Pascual with an appropriate environment can contact Roberta Magugliani through Facebook.

Her profile can also be found by searching for her name in the Facebook group Ibiza Winter Residents. Interested adopters should get in touch directly to discuss Pascual’s needs and the conditions required for his adoption.

At the time of the latest report, no suitable new home had been confirmed.

Giving Pascual the Right Start in His Next Home

Finding a suitable home for Pascual means identifying someone who can offer more than a temporary solution. The outdoor space available, his daily care and the long-term commitment involved are important considerations before any adoption is agreed.

For anyone with suitable land or a garden in Ibiza, the appeal offers an opportunity to help an animal still waiting for a new home. The priority is finding an environment that can meet Pascual’s needs and support his wellbeing over the long term.
