Free Guided Night Walk at Cala Comte in Ibiza to Explore the Coast at Sunset on October 23

October 15, 2026

Ibiza’s west coast will offer a different kind of evening experience on Friday, 23 October 2026, with a free guided walk along Cala Comte. Organised by the Natural Reserves of es Vedrà, es Vedranell and the Ponent Islets, the activity invites participants to discover the area’s natural beauty while watching the sunset and the moonrise above the Mediterranean.

Known as Passeig de posta i lluna, the sunset and moonrise walk runs from 17:30 to 19:30 and is open to the public. Advance registration is mandatory, and the exact meeting point will be communicated to participants once they have registered.

Discover Cala Comte Beyond Its Beaches

Cala Comte is known for its coastal scenery and views towards the small offshore islets of Ibiza’s western coastline. This guided walk offers an opportunity to experience the area at a different time of day, as daylight fades and the moon begins to rise.

Rather than focusing solely on the views, the activity aims to introduce participants to the natural values of the protected area. The walk follows the coastline around the Comte beaches, with the islets providing a distinctive backdrop throughout the experience.

The activity is led by the environmental education team responsible for the protected natural areas of Ibiza and Formentera. Participants can learn more about the landscape and its ecological importance while enjoying an outdoor experience away from the island’s busier tourist attractions.

A Free Outdoor Activity Open to All Ages

The walk is open to all audiences, making it an option for residents and visitors interested in nature, walking and discovering Ibiza’s coastal environment.

Participation is free, but registration must be completed in advance. Families should note that children and other minors must be accompanied by an adult.

Because the meeting point is communicated only after registration, participants should complete the process before the event rather than assume they can meet at a particular beach entrance.
