The island-wide event on 17 October will recognise officers from Ibiza’s five municipalities, with children’s road-safety activities, an emergency vehicle exhibition and an awards ceremony at Cine Regio.

Sant Antoni de Portmany will host the 19th Ibiza Local Police Day on Saturday, 17 October 2026, bringing together local police forces from across the island to recognise their work, dedication and service to the community.

The annual event will honour officers from all five municipalities of Ibiza, with awards recognising notable interventions, professional service and outstanding careers.

The programme will take place at two locations in Sant Antoni. Morning activities are scheduled for Passeig de ses Fonts, followed by the official ceremony at Cine Regio at 17:00. The institutional event will be open to the public.

Children’s Road-Safety Activities at Passeig de ses Fonts

The morning programme will run from 10:00 to 13:30 at Passeig de ses Fonts, with activities designed especially for children.

Sant Antoni Local Police will set up its children’s traffic park, giving younger visitors the opportunity to learn road-safety rules through practical and interactive activities.

The initiative aims to help children understand traffic signs and safe behaviour on the road in an accessible, hands-on setting.

Police and Emergency Vehicle Exhibition

The morning programme will also feature an exhibition of vehicles used by local police forces, other security services and emergency responders.

Visitors will have the opportunity to see some of the equipment and vehicles used by these professionals in their day-to-day work.

The exhibition is intended to bring the work of the island’s public safety services closer to residents and families, while complementing the educational activities.

Awards Ceremony at Cine Regio

The institutional ceremony will begin at 17:00 at Cine Regio in Sant Antoni.

Representatives from the island’s town councils, political officials, police commanders and officers from the different local forces are expected to attend.

During the ceremony, decorations and public recognitions will be presented to acknowledge notable actions, services and professional careers.

The event provides an opportunity to recognise the work of local police officers across Ibiza and highlight the role they play in public safety and community service.
