A new chapter of A State of Trance begins in Ibiza this Monday, September 7, as Armin van Buuren brings his landmark trance brand to UNVRS for its opening party. The first night launches a five-week residency celebrating 25 years of A State of Trance, with van Buuren taking an extended five-hour set alongside Hannah Laing and Ruden de Ronde.

The party starts at 23:30, with the Main Room hosting Armin van Buuren's special five-hour set, Hannah Laing's Face to Face set and Ruden de Ronde. NRG200 and S3PPA are confirmed for The Bunker. Tickets start at €50 for entry before 01:00, while standard admission is €60. Clubtickets is currently showing fewer than 50 tickets remaining for the early-entry option.

The extended format is central to the new residency. Rather than a conventional headline slot, Armin will play five-hour sets at every edition, giving him considerably more time to move through the different sides of his trance sound. UNVRS describes the series as a celebration of 25 years of A State of Trance, with each week bringing carefully selected guests and collaborators.

Hannah Laing joins him for a Face to Face set on opening night, while Ruden de Ronde completes the Main Room lineup. Laing has become one of the prominent newer names associated with the faster and more energetic side of contemporary trance, making her pairing with van Buuren one of the highlights of the September 7 programme.

The Bunker offers a second option during the night, with NRG200 and S3PPA taking over the room. This gives the opening party another musical space beyond the five-hour journey taking place in the Main Room.

The UNVRS residency marks the latest Ibiza chapter for A State of Trance. The brand has been part of Ibiza's electronic music culture for years, while van Buuren has also maintained a long-standing relationship with the island through previous residencies. The move to UNVRS places the trance concept inside one of Ibiza's newest large-scale club environments.

The September 7 opening is the first of five Monday dates. The residency continues on September 14 with Eli Brown, September 21 with Argy, September 28 with Funk Tribu and concludes on October 5 with an all-Armin edition featuring only his five-hour Main Room set.

UNVRS operates an 18+ policy and requires valid original identification. The dress code calls for a sophisticated look, with flip-flops, beach shorts, swimwear and sports-team merchandise prohibited. Tickets include access to a free one-way shuttle service from San Antonio and Playa d'en Bossa.

For trance fans, September 7 represents more than another Monday party. It is the beginning of a new Ibiza residency for Armin van Buuren and a 25th-anniversary celebration of A State of Trance, with five-hour sets giving the Dutch DJ the space to take the UNVRS dancefloor on a much deeper journey than a standard headline performance.
