Sunday at Ibiza Rocks is taking a break from the usual house-heavy soundtrack this weekend, with R&B Affair bringing a poolside celebration of classic and contemporary R&B to San Antonio on September 6.

The daytime party runs from 14:00 to 21:00, with DJ Spoony, Kenny Allstar, DJ Policy and Lewis Bones on the lineup. Tickets start at €32, with the current Day Pass including €25 of credit to spend on food and drinks at the venue.

DJ Spoony leads the September programme at R&B Affair, appearing on every Sunday date throughout the month. The former member of UK garage group Dreem Teem brings his long connection with UK dance music to the Ibiza Rocks pool, while Kenny Allstar adds his background in grime, hip-hop and UK club culture to this week's lineup.

Resident DJ Policy and Lewis Bones complete the September 6 bill, giving the afternoon a combination of established guests and the regular Ibiza Rocks sound. The event's musical direction moves between classic R&B and newer soul and urban records, with the programme drawing on artists such as Destiny's Child, Ashanti, Mario and TLC alongside more contemporary names including SZA, Frank Ocean, Michael Kiwanuka and Tyla.

R&B Affair is designed as a different proposition from Ibiza's electronic-focused daytime parties. Instead of house and techno, the emphasis is on vocals, familiar hooks and R&B records that encourage singing along as much as dancing. The poolside setting at Ibiza Rocks adds to the relaxed daytime atmosphere, making it possible to spend the afternoon in the sun before the party finishes at 21:00.

The September 6 edition is also part of the final month of the 2026 residency. R&B Affair began at Ibiza Rocks on May 3 and continues every Sunday through September 27, with DJ Spoony also scheduled for the September 13, September 20 and closing party on September 27.

Ibiza Rocks has been a fixture of San Antonio's daytime party scene since launching in 2005. The venue originally became known for live rock performances before developing a broader programme of pool parties and electronic and dance events. In 2026, the venue operates as Ibiza Rocks Pool Club, with R&B Affair forming its Sunday programme.

Tickets for September 6 are currently available from €32. The Day Pass format includes €25 of redeemable credit, while Clubtickets is currently showing limited availability. Ibiza Rocks is strictly 18+, and guests must bring valid original identification. There is also no re-entry once guests leave the venue.

For anyone wanting to finish the Ibiza weekend with something smoother than a typical electronic pool party, R&B Affair offers a different Sunday soundtrack.
