€39.75 Million Superyacht Kahalani Draws Attention in Ibiza in October: Inside the 55-Metre Feadship

October 15, 2026

Ibiza continues to attract some of the world's most impressive private yachts beyond the peak summer months. One of the vessels drawing attention in October 2026 is Kahalani, a 55-metre superyacht built by Dutch shipyard Feadship, with six guest cabins, two spacious saloons and a sundeck featuring a jacuzzi and bar.

The yacht was built in 2010 and has appeared on the brokerage market with an asking price of €39.75 million. That figure is a listed asking price, not confirmation of a completed sale.

With its substantial dimensions, contemporary design and extensive onboard facilities, Kahalani is an example of the large luxury vessels that visit the Balearic Islands throughout the year.

Kahalani: A 55-Metre Superyacht Built by Feadship

Kahalani measures 55.05 metres in length and has a beam of 10.30 metres. It was built by Feadship, the Dutch shipyard known for constructing bespoke superyachts for private owners.

The yacht's naval architecture was developed by Feadship De Voogt Naval Architects, with exterior styling by Studio De Voogt and interior design by Rémi Tessier Design.

Its appearance combines flowing exterior lines with carefully proportioned windows, teak details and contrasting finishes. The interior follows a contemporary design approach, with open spaces and a restrained palette intended to create a refined atmosphere.

Kahalani also received an interior design award at the 2011 ShowBoats Design Awards, in the category for displacement motor yachts between 100 and 199 feet.

Six Cabins and Space for 11 Guests

The superyacht can accommodate up to 11 guests across six cabins. Its layout includes two principal saloons, providing separate spaces for relaxing and socialising during longer stays on board.

One of the distinctive features is the full-beam saloon on the bridge deck, which takes advantage of the yacht's width to create a particularly spacious interior.

The vessel can also accommodate a crew of up to 13, according to brokerage specifications, allowing guest services and daily operations to be managed on board.

Jacuzzi, Bar and Outdoor Dining

Kahalani's outdoor areas are designed to make the most of time spent at sea or at anchor.

The sundeck includes a jacuzzi, sunbathing space and a full bar. There is also a sheltered outdoor dining area, while the bridge deck provides additional dining space that can connect indoor and outdoor areas through sliding glass doors.

The yacht is equipped with air conditioning, Wi-Fi, television and stabilisation systems designed to improve comfort both while underway and when at anchor. A tender boat is also available for transfers between the yacht and the shore.

These features make the vessel suitable for extended journeys as well as relaxed stays in Mediterranean destinations.

Range and Performance

Kahalani is powered by two Caterpillar 3512B main engines. Published technical specifications give it a maximum speed of approximately 15 knots and a cruising speed of around 12 knots.

Its stated range is approximately 4,500 nautical miles at cruising speed, allowing for long passages between destinations, subject to operating conditions and fuel consumption.

The yacht's combination of range, guest accommodation and outdoor facilities reflects its design for private cruising rather than simply short stays in port.

Why Is Kahalani Worth Almost €40 Million?

Kahalani has been listed for sale at €39.75 million. This is the advertised asking price and should not be confused with its original construction cost or a confirmed transaction value.

Its position in the superyacht market reflects several factors, including its 55-metre length, Feadship construction, bespoke interior design, onboard facilities and long-range cruising capability.

The vessel also has a notable place in Feadship's history. According to the builder, Kahalani was commissioned as a new yacht by a client who had previously owned another Feadship and wanted a larger successor.

Ibiza Beyond the Peak Summer Season

The reported appearance of Kahalani in Ibiza during October highlights how the island and the wider Balearics remain part of the Mediterranean itineraries of large private yachts after the busiest summer weeks.

The yacht has also been recorded in other Balearic and Spanish Mediterranean locations during 2026. These movements illustrate its wider cruising activity, although vessel-tracking records should not be treated as proof of its exact position at any particular moment.

For Ibiza, the presence of superyachts such as Kahalani adds another dimension to the island's maritime profile, extending beyond its well-known summer nightlife and beach scene.

At 55.05 metres long, with six cabins, extensive leisure facilities and an asking price of €39.75 million, Kahalani is a striking example of the scale and design of the luxury yachts navigating the Mediterranean.
