Two Ways to Experience Ibiza Through the Flavours of ME Ibiza

September 12, 2026

ME Ibiza in S’Argamassa is putting the Mediterranean at the centre of two distinct gastronomic experiences, with Origens Restaurante and Radio Rooftop offering very different ways to enjoy food, drinks and the island's landscape.

One is rooted in local produce, traditional flavours and cooking over fire. The other takes the experience upwards, combining panoramic sea views, cocktails, music and the changing light of sunset.

Origens: Mediterranean Cooking by the Sea

Located directly in front of the Mediterranean, Origens Restaurante focuses on local and seasonal ingredients sourced from Ibiza's land and sea.

The concept places fresh produce at the centre of the kitchen, with the grill providing a defining element. The approach is contemporary, but remains closely connected to familiar Mediterranean flavours and traditional culinary memories from the island.

Fish, aromatic Mediterranean herbs and salt are all part of that connection to Ibiza's culinary heritage.

The setting also strengthens the sense of place, with the sea providing a constant backdrop and the nearby Roman aqueduct of S’Argamassa adding another link to the area's history.

Radio Rooftop: Food, Cocktails and Sunset

Higher up at ME Ibiza, Radio Rooftop offers a completely different atmosphere.

The rooftop looks across the Mediterranean and Santa Eulalia bay, creating a setting designed around the transition from late afternoon into evening.

Its concept is built around three themes: fire, radio and sunset.

Fire appears through grilled dishes and smoky flavours, while the radio element reflects a multicultural culinary approach. Sunset then becomes part of the experience itself, transforming the rooftop as the light changes across the sea.

The menu is designed for sharing, bringing together international influences with contemporary techniques.

Signature cocktails and DJ sets add to the atmosphere, creating a more cosmopolitan experience that continues beyond the sunset.

Two Sides of Ibiza Gastronomy

Together, Origens and Radio Rooftop represent two different interpretations of dining at ME Ibiza.

Origens is closely connected to the island's ingredients, Mediterranean traditions and relationship with the sea.

Radio Rooftop is more focused on international flavours, cocktails, music and the visual experience of watching the sun disappear over the Mediterranean.

Both, however, share the same connection to their surroundings.

At ME Ibiza, the landscape is not simply the setting for the meal. It forms part of the experience, from the sea views at Origens to the panoramic sunset atmosphere at Radio Rooftop.

A Taste of Ibiza From Day to Night

The two restaurants also offer different ways to experience the rhythm of an Ibiza evening.

Origens provides a more grounded Mediterranean experience centred on produce and the grill, while Radio Rooftop takes the evening into a more social and atmospheric setting with cocktails, music and sunset views.

Both experiences are located at ME Ibiza in S’Argamassa, Santa Eulària des Riu, with the Mediterranean providing the common thread between them.
