Defex takes over the Forest Stage at 528 Ibiza for the final time this September on Saturday, September 19, as part of the Pikes Presents programme.

The Ibiza-based DJ has been hosting the intimate outdoor stage across three September dates, creating a separate space within 528 focused on the sound and spirit associated with Pikes.

The final session brings together Defex, Federico Grazzini, Milou and live act Flashbaxx from 18:00 to 22:45.

The Forest Stage programme runs from 18:00 until 22:45, before the evening continues elsewhere at 528.

A three-date September takeover

Defex's Forest Stage programme has occupied the outdoor space on three September Saturdays.

The concept was presented as part of Pikes Presents, giving Defex the opportunity to curate a dedicated stage within 528 rather than simply performing a conventional club set.

The previous dates featured different combinations of artists, including Maxinne, Burbuya, Tsodor, Elisa Elisa and Claudio Ricci.

Defex and the Pikes connection

Defex is a resident DJ at Pikes Ibiza and has a longstanding connection with the island's electronic music scene.

He was also involved with The Zoo Project before the site that once hosted the project became 528 Ibiza.

That history gives his Forest Stage programme a direct connection with the venue's earlier identity, although the current events are taking place under the 528 Ibiza and Pikes Presents banner.

A different space within 528

The Forest Stage is one of several spaces operating at 528 Ibiza.

The venue's current format includes the Garden Stage, Forest Stage and Theatre, with programming continuing indoors after the outdoor stages finish.

The Forest is a smaller open-air space within the wider 528 site, allowing Pikes Presents to run a separate musical programme alongside the main Garden Stage.

Flashbaxx brings a live performance

Flashbaxx joins the final Forest Stage lineup for a live PA rather than a conventional DJ set.

Defex, Federico Grazzini and Milou complete the musical programme for the final session.

The combination gives the Forest Stage its own lineup while other artists perform simultaneously elsewhere at 528.

The Forest Stage is only one part of Saturday's programme.

On the Garden Stage, HAAi performs B2B with Young Marco, alongside Mina, from 18:00 to 23:00.

After the outdoor stages close, James Lavelle and Andy Baxter take over the Theatre from 23:00 until 04:00.
