Lunas de Lunares Closes Its First Season at Mondrian Ibiza With Leilah Broukhim

19 de September de 2026

Lunas de Lunares will close its first season at Mondrian Ibiza on Sunday, September 27, with a special evening of flamenco, dinner and live music at NIKO Al Fresco in Cala Llonga.

The closing performance will feature flamenco dancer and artistic director Leilah Broukhim, accompanied by Roberto Lorente on vocals, Víctor Tomate on guitar and Bandolero on percussion.

It will also be Broukhim's only performance in Ibiza during the 2026 season.

A first season of flamenco in Cala Llonga

Lunas de Lunares was introduced at Mondrian Ibiza for the 2026 season as a Sunday evening flamenco series.

The programme was created as a contemporary interpretation of the historic live-music evenings associated with Santa Eulalia, bringing flamenco and live performance to NIKO Al Fresco's rooftop overlooking Cala Llonga.

The series has brought together artists including Alba Molina, Esther Esteban, Mati González, Juan Medina and Gautama del Campo during its first season.

Leilah Broukhim leads the finale

The final performance will be led by Leilah Broukhim, a flamenco dancer and artistic director who was born and raised in New York and is of Persian heritage.

Broukhim has been based in Spain for more than 25 years and has performed at established flamenco venues including Corral de la Morería and Casa Patas.

She has also developed her own productions, including Dejando Huellas, Embrujá and Lorca, Poeta Flamenco, which have been presented internationally.

Live flamenco with a four-person lineup

Broukhim will be accompanied by three musicians and performers during the closing:

  • Roberto Lorente, cante

  • Víctor Tomate, guitar

  • Bandolero, percussion

The combination gives the final evening a format centred on live flamenco rather than a conventional DJ or music programme.

Dinner and flamenco at NIKO Al Fresco

The closing is designed as a combined dining and cultural experience.

The evening includes a welcome cocktail, a specially created dinner at NIKO Al Fresco and the live flamenco performance.

The restaurant's cuisine focuses on Japanese flavours while incorporating local and seasonal ingredients, adding a second culinary element to the evening alongside the Spanish flamenco programme.

The final Sunday of the series

Lunas de Lunares has been scheduled on Sundays throughout the 2026 season, generally from 20:00 to 23:00.

September 27 will bring the series' first season to a close.

The closing event is therefore a specific finale to the 2026 Lunas de Lunares programme rather than the end of Mondrian Ibiza's wider cultural calendar.

A setting overlooking Cala Llonga

NIKO Al Fresco is located on the rooftop of Mondrian Ibiza in Cala Llonga.

The venue looks across the bay and provides an outdoor setting for the Sunday programme.

The combination of the rooftop location, sunset period, dinner and live flamenco has been central to the identity of Lunas de Lunares during its first season.

Not the end of Mondrian Ibiza's cultural programme

The closing of Lunas de Lunares does not mean that Mondrian Ibiza's cultural programming ends with September.

Current information indicates that the hotel will continue hosting cultural and creative events through October 18.

Lunas de Lunares is therefore one completed seasonal programme within a wider calendar at the Cala Llonga property.

A final night for Lunas de Lunares

After a summer of Sunday flamenco performances, Lunas de Lunares will conclude its first season with Leilah Broukhim taking the stage at NIKO Al Fresco.

With dinner, a welcome cocktail and live flamenco included in the €55 experience, the September 27 event brings together the musical and gastronomic elements that have shaped the series during its inaugural season.

The evening will provide the final Lunas de Lunares performance of 2026 against the backdrop of Cala Llonga.
