Spanish singer and television presenter Bertín Osborne surprised diners at Beso Beach Formentera with an impromptu live performance during the venue's closing celebrations, turning an unexpected appearance into a musical moment for guests.

According to a report published on 14 October, Osborne was introduced by the restaurant's owner before beginning to sing in front of the assembled audience.

From Frank Sinatra to Mexican Rancheras

The reported performance opened with “New York, New York”, the classic associated with Frank Sinatra. Guests reportedly responded with applause and joined in as Osborne continued singing.

The set also included several rancheras, with “Ella”, a well-known song by Mexican singer-songwriter José Alfredo Jiménez, among the tracks mentioned in the report.

Rather than a scheduled concert, the appearance was described as an impromptu performance that caught restaurant guests by surprise.

Beso Beach Formentera Marks the End of the Season

Located on Cavall d'en Borràs beach in Formentera's Ses Salines natural park, Beso Beach is known for its beachfront dining and Mediterranean atmosphere.

The restaurant's seasonal closing celebrations bring the summer period to a close at one of Formentera's recognised beachside venues. Osborne's reported appearance added a live music moment to the occasion, with diners able to enjoy the unexpected performance as part of their visit.

The singer's appearance offered a different kind of closing-season moment on an island where the final weeks of summer are marked by restaurant celebrations, music and gatherings by the sea.
