The Fiestas de San Mateo continue in the rural village of Sant Mateu d’Albarca on Saturday, September 26, with a literary presentation as the celebrations approach their final weekend.

At 19:30, the Sant Mateu multipurpose centre hosts the presentation of “Entre la mar i l’univers”, a book by Josefa Ribas Riera. Javier Serapio will introduce the presentation.

The event forms part of the wider Fiestas de Sant Mateu, which have been taking place since the end of August and combine traditional celebrations, cultural activities, music, family events and local sporting activities.

The festivities conclude on Sunday, September 27. The final day includes the Sant Mateu Popular Race, with 5 km and 10 km routes, children's races and a closing choral performance titled “Cançons”.
