Tuesday, October 6 is a good day to explore some of Ibiza's less obvious attractions, from a leisurely tourist train journey through the island's eastern countryside to a botanical park and a trio of cultural stops in and around Dalt Vila.

The Cala Llonga Tourist Train offers an easy way to discover the landscapes and villages of eastern Ibiza without having to drive between them.

The excursions travel along rural roads towards beaches, traditional villages and some of the island's well-known hippie markets. Several stops are made during the journey, giving passengers time to walk around, take a break or have a refreshment.

The Tuesday service departs at 10:00 from the Tourist Office opposite Cala Llonga beach. The excursion lasts approximately four hours. A second departure at 15:00 is also scheduled on Tuesdays and Thursdays during September and October.

BiBo Park in San Rafael on Tuesday, October 6

BiBo Park offers a different take on Ibiza's natural landscape, combining a botanical experience with education about biotechnology and the plant life of the Pitiusas.

The park's route moves through different natural environments and endemic species, with information provided around the relationship between plants, technology and environmental sustainability. The experience also includes access to Ibizaloe, including its plantation, Aloe Vera museum and tasting.

BiBo Park is open on Tuesday, October 6 from 10:00 to 16:00. Visitors can also arrange a guided tour, subject to availability.

Carles Fabregat and Josep Vallribera at Sa Nostra Sala in Ibiza Town on Tuesday, October 6

Sa Nostra Sala is hosting a joint exhibition by Carles Fabregat and Josep Vallribera, bringing sculpture, photography, structures and writing together in a dialogue between two very different artistic approaches.

Fabregat's sculptures place the human face at the centre of an exploration of identity, time and the human condition. Vallribera takes a multidisciplinary approach, combining photography, constructed forms and texts to examine memory and how people interpret the passage of time.

The exhibition continues until October 10. On Tuesday, October 6, it is open from 10:00 to 13:30 and from 17:30 to 20:30.

I en la Mar, els Somnis by Hans Grass at Museu Puget on Tuesday, October 6

Inside Dalt Vila, the Museu Puget is currently presenting I en la Mar, els Somnis, a temporary exhibition dedicated to Swiss artist Hans Grass.

Grass maintained a close relationship with Ibiza and the Mediterranean, and the exhibition brings together paintings reflecting his interest in the sea, architecture, everyday life and the distinctive light of the islands. His work combines expressive brushwork with vivid colour and a personal interpretation of the landscapes around him.

The exhibition runs until December 31, 2026. During October, the museum is open Tuesday to Friday from 10:00 to 16:30.

Cel d'Or by Stefan Brüggemann at MACE in Dalt Vila on Tuesday, October 6

The Museu d'Art Contemporani d'Eivissa, MACE, continues its major 2026 exhibition Cel d'Or by Ibiza-based artist Stefan Brüggemann.

Brüggemann's work draws on conceptual and post-conceptual art, frequently using language, words and constructed forms to question meaning and perception. For Cel d'Or, the intervention occupies the Sala de Armas of Dalt Vila, creating a site-specific experience in the historic museum setting.

The exhibition runs until November 15. On Tuesday, October 6, MACE is open from 10:00 to 16:30.
