Cala de Bou and es Port des Torrent are preparing for more than two weeks of neighbourhood celebrations, with the 2026 fiestas bringing live music, family entertainment, sport, culture, gastronomy and charitable initiatives to the area.

Organised by the Ajuntament de Sant Josep de sa Talaia, the Fiestas de Cala de Bou i es Port des Torrent will take place from Friday, 2 October until Tuesday, 20 October, offering a broad programme aimed at residents and visitors of all ages.

The celebrations begin on 2 October

The programme gets underway on Friday, 2 October with Sonorama Goes to Ibiza at the Auditori Caló de s’Oli.

The festival's official programme confirms that the activities at the auditorium that day are free, while the wider Sonorama programme continues on Saturday, 3 October with ticketed concerts at Venice Bay.

Sonorama's organisers describe the event as a music and gastronomy festival, with the 2026 edition taking place in Cala de Bou on 2 and 3 October.

Sport and solidarity take over the first weekend

Saturday, 3 October will feature the Cursa d'Orientació des Port des Torrent, followed on Sunday, 4 October by a petanque tournament.

The same Sunday will also see the Gran Jornada Solidaria, organised in support of Ibiza IN. The programme includes an arroz de matanzas and a charity bingo.

The inclusion of both sporting and charitable activities gives the opening weekend a strong community focus alongside the concerts and entertainment.

The official fiestas proclamation

The formal proclamation of the fiestas will take place on Friday, 9 October.

The Asociación de Mujeres de Cala de Bou will give the pregón, accompanied by a traditional ball pagès performance from Grup Folklòric Sant Jordi de ses Salines and a concert by flamenco group A Mi Aire.

A full day of family entertainment on 10 October

Saturday, 10 October will be one of the busiest days of the programme, with activities designed especially for families and children.

The schedule includes inflatable castles, a magic show and a children's music, games and entertainment session. The day will also feature CdB Express, a musical route through different bars in the area with live performances.

The evening programme moves to the outdoor area of the Auditori Caló de s'Oli, where DJ Javi Box will perform before Queen Forever Tribute takes to the stage.

Markets, dance and live music on 11 October

On Sunday, 11 October, the celebrations continue with an artisan market, children's activities and a participatory family dance workshop.

Dance performances from Are-T and Estudio 64 will also form part of the programme, followed by a concert from Ibiza group Querencia at 21:00.

Soul Food & Blues returns on 12 October

Monday, 12 October is the main day of the Cala de Bou celebrations and will combine traditional elements with music, food and cultural activities.

The programme includes the sixth edition of Soul Food & Blues at the outdoor area of the Auditori Caló de s'Oli. Soul Connectors and Will Jacobs are confirmed for the event, which focuses on North American musical and gastronomic culture.

The day will also include the traditional religious celebrations and additional family and cultural activities.

Culture and activities continue through October

The programme does not end after the main weekend.

Activities continue through Tuesday, 20 October, with exhibitions, events organised through the Cala de Bou library, children's and family workshops, activities for older residents and further cultural and leisure proposals.

Among the cultural programme is the painting exhibition "Transiciones, Vacío, el lugar que precede al todo" by C. Sánchez. The exhibition opens on Thursday, 8 October at the Auditori Caló de s'Oli and is scheduled to remain open until 18 October.

Music remains at the centre of the programme

Live music is one of the defining features of this year's celebrations, with the programme bringing together local performers, visiting artists, tribute acts and larger events.

The Sant Josep music programme highlights Sonorama Goes to Ibiza, Soul Food & Blues and Cala de Bou Express among the major musical events taking place as part of the fiestas, alongside flamenco performances and other concerts.
