Travel Influencers Highlight Five Traditional Ibiza Restaurants in Ibiza Food Guide

29 de September de 2026

Spanish travel creators Alfon and Gon, the brothers behind Gemelos Viajeros, have put the spotlight on five Ibiza restaurants they visited during a recent trip to the island, highlighting traditional dishes, local bakeries and restaurants away from the more expensive side of Ibiza dining.

The travel duo, known online as @gemelosviajeros, have more than 2 million followers on TikTok, while their Instagram account also has a substantial audience. Their content focuses on travel, destinations, food and practical recommendations for their followers.

Their latest Ibiza food video presents five places they say stood out during their visit, along with the prices they paid.

Starting With Bullit de Peix

Their most expensive stop was S'Espartar, where they ordered the traditional Ibizan dish bullit de peix followed by its accompanying rice.

According to the creators, the meal cost around €100 for the two of them, including the dish, bread and water. They described the experience positively, while their followers also joined in the discussion about the pronunciation of the traditional dish.

The figure is approximately €50 per person based on the amount shown in the video.

Es Timbal Offers the Lowest Price

At Es Timbal in Sant Jordi, the brothers tried frita de pulpo and a tartare, which they described as one of the highlights of their food tour.

They said the meal cost around €24 per person, making it the least expensive of the five restaurant stops featured in their video.

A Stop for Traditional Ibizan Sweets

The food tour also included a visit to Can Vadell, a historic pastry shop in Ibiza Town, where the creators bought orelletes and Ibizan-style magdalenas.

They said the purchase cost around €10 and highlighted the local pastries as some of their favourite products from the visit.

Two Restaurants They Particularly Enjoyed

The creators singled out two restaurants as their favourites from the five featured.

At Es Rebost de Can Prats in Sant Antoni, they described the experience as being similar to eating at their grandmother's house. They put the cost at around €35 per person.

They also visited Cas Pagés in Sant Carles, where they tried arroz de matanzas, a traditional rice dish, and described it enthusiastically. Their reported cost was around €30 per person.

These comments represent the creators' own assessment of the restaurants rather than an independent ranking.

A Focus on Local Food

The video has attracted considerable discussion among Ibiza followers, with many commenters praising the choice of restaurants and the emphasis on traditional food.

Some viewers also suggested additional restaurants they felt deserved a place on the list, including establishments in areas such as Pou des Lleó, Sant Joan and Ibiza Town.

The reaction reflects a broader interest in discovering Ibiza through its traditional cuisine rather than focusing exclusively on the island's high-end dining scene.

Beyond Restaurants

Gemelos Viajeros have also explored aspects of Ibiza's history and traditions during their visit.

In another video, the brothers discussed the local theory associated with Nito Verdera that Christopher Columbus was born in Ibiza. The theory remains disputed and is not established historical fact, but it forms part of a longstanding local debate.

They also published content about the legend and traditions surrounding the fameliars, the mythical creatures associated with Ibiza folklore, filming around the Santa Eulària area.

Their Ibiza content therefore extends beyond restaurants into local history, traditions and cultural stories.

A Different Side of Ibiza Dining

The five restaurants featured by Gemelos Viajeros provide their followers with a snapshot of some of the island's more traditional food experiences, from bullit de peix and arroz de matanzas to frita de pulpo and local pastries.

Their recommendations are personal rather than a definitive list of Ibiza's best restaurants, but the video has brought attention to several established local establishments and traditional dishes at a time when much of Ibiza's international reputation remains closely associated with luxury tourism and high-end dining.

For visitors looking to explore the island's food culture, the video offers another perspective on Ibiza: one centred on traditional recipes, local businesses and restaurants where the creators felt their experience reflected the island's culinary heritage.
