Pikes Ibiza has surpassed €1 million in cumulative fundraising through its charitable initiative, with contributions from guests supporting organisations working across Ibiza, Formentera and, in one case, internationally.

The programme was launched in 2024 and has grown from €130,000 raised in its first year to €600,000 in 2025. Pikes now lists the 2026 total as €1 million and counting, meaning fundraising is continuing during the current season.

From €130,000 to more than €1 million

The fundraising initiative began in 2024 as a way of connecting Pikes guests with organisations supporting local communities.

The first year generated €130,000.

That increased to €600,000 in 2025, before the cumulative total passed the €1 million mark during 2026.

The figures are cumulative, rather than representing €1 million raised in 2026 alone. Based on Pikes' published figures, the programme had already raised €730,000 across its first two years.

How the Pikes charity programme works

At Pikes events, guests are invited to contribute to participating organisations.

Representatives and volunteers from those organisations collect the donations themselves at the venue. Pikes says 100% of each contribution goes directly to the organisation receiving it, with no intermediaries, commissions or deductions.

Pikes' current terms also state that a minimum charity donation is required on entry for its events, with the amount varying during the season and by event. Guests can contribute more if they wish.

The arrangement gives participating organisations direct contact with people visiting the venue while also providing an opportunity to explain their work.

Supporting organisations across Ibiza and Formentera

The 2026 programme includes organisations working in areas such as childhood cancer, cancer support, multiple sclerosis, children's welfare and animal welfare.

Pikes' current charity information highlights ASPANOB, which supports children with cancer and their families, AEMIF, the Multiple Sclerosis Association of Ibiza and Formentera, Ibiza and Formentera Against Cancer, Proyecto Juntos and Care4Cats.

Proyecto Juntos is using its support for the Galaxia Pediátrica project at Can Misses Hospital, while Care4Cats works with street cats in Ibiza.

The Mercury Phoenix Trust

The programme also supports the Mercury Phoenix Trust, the charity established in memory of Freddie Mercury.

This is different from the island-based organisations supported through the initiative. Pikes says the trust supports HIV/AIDS education projects for young people internationally.

The venue identifies the Mercury Phoenix Trust as one of two exceptions to its focus on local charities, the other being Care4Cats.

For that reason, the fundraising milestone is more accurately described as supporting charities and community causes rather than suggesting that every euro raised stays within Ibiza and Formentera.

More than fundraising

Pikes says the initiative is also intended to give local organisations greater visibility.

Representatives and volunteers attend events at the venue, allowing them to explain their work directly to guests and describe the communities they support.

The venue says many of the organisations involved are local charities that do not have the same resources or reach as larger national organisations.

The fundraising therefore combines financial contributions with direct contact between charities and the people visiting Pikes.

A growing programme

Pikes says the success of the initiative has led to requests from additional organisations that want to participate.

The venue says it has chosen to keep the programme focused on local charities helping people in situations of genuine need, crisis or vulnerability, with broader support for children and the two stated exceptions of Care4Cats and the Mercury Phoenix Trust.

The programme is continuing through the 2026 season, so the final annual total will be higher than the current €1 million figure.

A seven-figure milestone for Pikes

The €1 million mark represents three years of fundraising through Pikes' charity programme.

Starting at €130,000 in 2024, the total rose to €600,000 in 2025 before passing €1 million in 2026.

The money is generated through contributions connected with the venue's events, while participating organisations collect the donations directly.

Pikes' current figure is therefore not a one-off corporate donation but the cumulative result of the fundraising model it introduced in 2024.

And with the 2026 campaign still running, the total has not yet reached its final figure.
