The final weekend of September brings a packed mix of markets, live music, theatre, magic, exhibitions, traditional celebrations and outdoor activities across Ibiza and Formentera.

From the Fira Marinera in Sant Antoni and Magiclown in Sant Josep to the Festa de sa Roca de sa Creu in Es Figueral and the third edition of Formentera Sona, there are plenty of ways to spend September 25, 26 and 27.

Friday, September 25

Culture and music in Ibiza Town

Ibiza Town has several cultural events on Friday, including the final of the Art Jove 2026 Short Film Competition at the Baluard de Sant Pere in Dalt Vila at 8:30pm.

The X Eivissa Art Fair continues at Es Polvorí throughout the weekend, while the Archaeological Museum of Puig des Molins hosts a 7pm talk titled ‘Buscando la inmortalidad. Tumba 67 de época ptolemaica’ as part of the Nit de la Recerca programme.

Later in the evening, the Claustro del Ayuntamiento de Eivissa hosts the closing concert of the Lluna d’Estiu 2026 cycle at 9pm, featuring Daniel Viloria, Yeshe Aysa and Rosa Cardona.

Fira Marinera in Sant Antoni

The XV Fira Marinera continues on Friday at Passeig de la Mar and Passeig de ses Fonts.

The seafront market opens from 11am, with music, street performances, pirates and corsairs, family activities and performances by Raebellion Folk.

One of the day's highlights is ‘La Captura del Dragón’ at 8:30pm, followed by further evening entertainment.

Magiclown in Sant Jordi

Magiclown continues in Sant Jordi with a free performance by David Navares at 7:30pm.

‘La magia de un trotamundos’ combines illusion, humour and family entertainment. The festival continues through Sunday with performances in Sant Jordi and Caló de s’Oli.

Santa Eulària and Santa Gertrudis

The Teatro España hosts the IV Gala of Club Náutico Santa Eulalia at 7pm, recognising the club's athletes and presenting its new season.

Santa Gertrudis also hosts its traditional Friday evening artisan market, with crafts, local products and music.

For art lovers, ‘Temps i llum a Eivissa’ by Amparo López remains on display at the Santa Eulària exhibition space through October 3.

Formentera

Formentera's Friday programme includes the markets in Sant Francesc and La Savina, exhibitions at the Centre Antoni Tur ‘Gabrielet’ and Ajuntament Vell, and the exhibition at the cultural space of Far de la Mola.

The evening brings the first night of the third Formentera Sona festival at Sa Senieta, beginning at 8pm. Music continues later with Música en Viu in Sant Ferran.

Saturday, September 26

Theatre and dance in Ibiza Town

Can Ventosa presents the comedy ‘Cunyades’ at 8:30pm, while the Auditori del Centre Sociocultural de Cas Serres hosts ‘Nó’ at 8pm as part of the IX Temporada de Dansa.

Another full day at the Fira Marinera

The Fira Marinera continues in Sant Antoni from 10:45am, with street entertainment, music, pirates, corsairs, acrobatic performances and children's activities.

‘La Captura del Dragón’ returns at 9pm, followed later by a street concert and a fire show.

Saturday is also the final opportunity to see the ‘De píxel a pigmento’ exhibition by NECKO at sa Punta des Molí.

Magic, theatre and music in Sant Josep

Magiclown continues with free performances at the Auditori de Caló de s’Oli.

Máximo Óptimo brings circus and comedy at 7:30pm, followed by Mago Edgar's ‘Déjà Vu’ at 9pm.

At the Centre d'Interpretació de Sa Caleta, the Grup de Teatre Pedro Cañestro presents ‘Hòmens de la sal’, a production focused on the memory of the people who worked in Ibiza's salt industry.

Sa Roca de sa Creu in Es Figueral

The Festa de sa Roca de sa Creu takes over Es Figueral beach on Saturday with a programme combining music, dance and percussion.

The afternoon begins at 5pm with an open African dance class led by Nati Botta. The musical programme then includes Katana DJ, The Rosemary Family, Aiyé Batucada Ibiza, Ape Chimba and Afrosideral.

The activities are free. The celebrations continue on Sunday with environmental and family activities.

Sant Miquel celebrations

The Sant Miquel festivities continue with a walk from the church of Sant Miquel to Port de Sant Miquel. The route begins at 10am and covers approximately 11 kilometres.

The evening programme moves to the beach, with Esta me la sé performing at 8:30pm and Cacho a Cacho, a tribute to Estopa, at 10:30pm.

Formentera Sona and weekend markets

Formentera's Saturday programme includes the regular markets in Sant Francesc and La Savina, as well as a second-hand market in Sant Francesc.

The second night of Formentera Sona takes place at Sa Senieta at 8pm, while Jazz en la plaza brings live music to Sant Francesc later in the evening. The festival's three-night programme runs from September 25 to 27 and is free to attend.

Sunday, September 27

Jazz and flamenco in Ibiza Town

Can Ventosa hosts ‘Jazz Flamenco’ at 7pm, performed by the Big Band Ciutat d’Eivissa under the direction of Vicent Tur, with guest artist Amador and dancer Penélope Tafur.

The X Eivissa Art Fair also reaches its final day at Es Polvorí.

Final day of the Fira Marinera

The Fira Marinera concludes in Sant Antoni on Sunday.

The market opens at 10:45am, with music, street performances, pirates, corsairs and children's activities. The final programme includes the Despedida del Dragón at 8pm before the event comes to a close.

Magiclown finale

Magiclown reaches its final day in Sant Josep.

Culturactiva Produccions presents ‘Desconcierto’ at the indoor auditorium of Caló de s’Oli at 7pm, followed by ‘Mute’ by Orain-Bi in the outdoor auditorium at 8pm.

Both performances are free.

Es Figueral: beach, nature and tradition

The second day of Festa de sa Roca de sa Creu begins at 9:30am with a beach clean-up and a workshop focused on microplastics.

Later, the programme includes activities connected with the Viu la Posidònia initiative, including a guided coastal outing and shoreline clean-up, followed by beach tennis activities and a ball pagès performance.

Sant Joan Sunday market

The traditional Sant Joan Sunday market returns from 10am, with stalls selling crafts, local products, art and organic food.

Live music is scheduled in the village square from midday, while Sunday is also the final day of Ana Jakimow's exhibition at the Casa Parroquial de Sant Joan de Labritja.

Formentera and World Tourism Day

Formentera marks World Tourism Day on Sunday as part of its official programme.

The island's markets and exhibitions continue, including the Sunday markets in Sant Francesc and La Savina and the artisan market at La Mola in the afternoon.

Sunday is also the final night of Formentera Sona at Sa Senieta, completing its three-day programme of music spanning classical music, flamenco, jazz and Mediterranean sounds.
