Thursday, October 8 brings a varied late-afternoon programme across Ibiza, from a long Mediterranean lunch and a new art exhibition to a clifftop sunset and a rooftop session in Playa d'en Bossa.

Playa Soleil's The 4PM Club offers a relaxed combination of food, cocktails and music, built around the idea of letting lunch naturally develop into the afternoon.
The weekday lunch menu is available from Monday to Thursday and includes starters to share, a choice of rice or fideuà, dessert and one drink per person. A resident DJ provides the soundtrack as the afternoon moves towards the beach club's late-day atmosphere.
The October 8 edition starts at 16:00.

Children can step behind the library counter during Ajudant de biblioteca, a special workshop created for the annual Day of Libraries celebrations.
Participants learn how a real library works, including registering books, creating library cards and carrying out loans and returns using the same tools employed by the library team.
The first session takes place on Thursday, October 8 from 17:00 to 19:00. The workshop is designed for children aged 7 and over, with only two participants accepted per session, making the activity highly personalised. Prior registration is required.

Santa Eulalia opens a new exhibition on Thursday with Dones a la mar, a project by Argentine artist Marina Penhos combining photography and textile art.
The exhibition explores the relationship between women and the sea through themes of identity, belonging, memory and territory. Penhos's wider project connects communities in Argentina and Ibiza, incorporating traditional textile practices and memories passed between generations.
The official opening takes place at 17:00 on October 8. The exhibition then remains open until October 24, with free admission.

Hostal La Torre returns to the October evening with its daily sunset DJ sessions overlooking the Mediterranean from Cap Negret.
The clifftop restaurant and cocktail bar combines the sunset with a relaxed musical soundtrack, Mediterranean food and drinks. The venue is open throughout the year, making it one of the island's classic places to watch the sun disappear over the sea even after the peak summer season.
The Thursday session begins from 17:00.
