Museu Diocesà in Dalt Vila on Tuesday, October 6

Inside Ibiza Cathedral in Dalt Vila, the Museu Diocesà offers a compact journey through the religious and artistic history of Ibiza and Formentera.

The museum occupies spaces within the cathedral complex and displays paintings, sculptures, gold and silver objects, vestments and other liturgical pieces dating from the fourteenth to the twentieth centuries. Its collection also includes examples of traditional Ibicencan jewellery.

In October, the museum is open from Monday to Saturday between 10:00 and 13:30, making Tuesday morning a good opportunity to combine the visit with a walk through the historic streets of Dalt Vila.

Ethnographic Museum of Ibiza at Can Ros in Santa Eulalia on Tuesday, October 6

Set beside the Puig de Missa, the Ethnographic Museum of Ibiza occupies Can Ros, a traditional Ibicencan farmhouse dating back more than 300 years.

The permanent collection offers a glimpse into rural life on the island, with traditional clothing, jewellery, domestic objects, agricultural tools, musical instruments and other objects connected with everyday life. The building itself is part of the experience, preserving characteristic elements of traditional Ibicencan architecture.

From October to March, the museum opens Tuesday to Saturday from 10:00 to 14:00. Admission is free.

Dones a la Mar by Marina Penhos in Santa Eulalia on Tuesday, October 6

A new exhibition opens in Santa Eulalia on October 6 as Argentine artist Marina Penhos presents Dones a la Mar at the Sant Jaume 72 Exhibition Hall.

The project brings together photography and textile art to explore the relationship between women, memory, traditions and the sea. Penhos developed the project through cultural exchange, connecting experiences and traditions from Argentina, Ibiza and other communities.

The exhibition can be visited from October 6 to 24, with opening hours from Tuesday to Saturday between 10:00 and 13:30 and 16:30 and 19:30. The official inauguration takes place on Thursday, October 8 at 17:00, so October 6 is the first day of public viewing.

Ocean Drive Ibiza continues to host Invisible Worlds, a contemporary exhibition by Ibiza-based artist Tahirah Luck.

The works explore emotional, energetic and symbolic dimensions through abstract compositions combining colour, shape and texture. Among the pieces included in the exhibition are Balance, Feminine Energy, Harmony, Ancient and Connections.

The exhibition runs until October 15, giving visitors several more days to discover the collection in Marina Botafoch. Entry is free.

Paradiso Ibiza Art Hotel continues its Hotel Life: Ibiza Off Duty exhibition by Nephthys Illustrated, offering a playful look at the world of hotel life from behind the scenes.

The exhibition brings together pencil illustrations and text-based works inspired by the escapism, freedom and carefree spirit associated with Ibiza's hotels. The pieces explore the everyday moments, characters and stories that normally remain outside the visitor's view.

The exhibition opened on August 27 and remains on display until October 17. It forms part of Paradiso's ongoing 24H Arty People programme and is free to visit.
