Just one year after an eight-second Ibiza dance video turned Jack Kay into the “Ibiza Final Boss”, the Newcastle-born viral star says he has now made more than £2 million through brand deals, TV appearances and commercial ventures.

It started with an eight-second dance in an Ibiza nightclub. Just over a year later, Jack Kay says the viral moment has transformed his life and made him more than £2 million.

Better known online as the “Ibiza Final Boss,” the 26-year-old Newcastle native became an internet sensation in August 2025 after footage of him dancing in Ibiza went viral. His distinctive bowl haircut, sunglasses, chunky gold chain and completely confident dance moves quickly turned him into one of the most recognisable faces of the island's 2025 summer. The original clip reportedly attracted more than 20 million views.

At the time, Kay was simply a construction worker from Newcastle. In the space of a few weeks, however, the unexpected internet fame turned into a new career.

Now, speaking to The Sun's Fabulous, Kay says he has made more than £2 million since the video went viral. The money has reportedly come from a combination of brand partnerships, television appearances, paid social media content and other commercial opportunities.

Among his deals was a five-figure partnership with BoohooMan, while his growing profile has also led to television opportunities and paid appearances.

His most recognisable asset has even been turned into a business proposition. Kay's famous haircut has reportedly been insured for £1 million, adding another extraordinary chapter to the story of a hairstyle that helped turn an ordinary holidaymaker into an international viral personality.

The transformation has also changed the way Kay travels and spends his money.

He has previously spoken about using some of his newfound wealth to fly friends back to Ibiza on a private jet and buying a £55,000 Range Rover. More recently, however, he says he has become more careful with his finances, with property among his priorities.

From working on the roads to becoming the Ibiza Final Boss

Kay's story began during a holiday in Ibiza in August 2025.

His newfound celebrity has even taken him into the boxing world. In June 2026, Kay made his boxing debut as part of a Misfits Boxing event, further expanding his career beyond the original Ibiza meme.

Kay has also continued returning to Ibiza. During a 2025 return to the island, he appeared at Pacha and later spent a night in the VIP area at Amnesia, showing just how dramatically his relationship with Ibiza had changed in the space of a year.
