A new signature campaign opposing the planned expansion of Ibiza Airport has been launched, adding to growing opposition to Aena's proposals for the island's airport.

The campaign is being promoted by the Associació de Joves d'Eivissa (AJE), which earlier this week announced a demonstration against the project for September 20.

According to Noudiari, the online petition had collected more than 1,400 signatures when the campaign was announced, while printed copies are also being distributed at locations around Ibiza.

Campaigners Ask for the Project to Be Stopped
