One of Ibiza’s most spectacular outdoor adventures takes place on Sunday, September 27, as Balearic Outdoor Adventures leads its A Walk on the Wild Side hike and swim to Sa Pedrera de Cala d’Hort, better known as Atlantis.

The Sunday morning hike heads along Ibiza’s dramatic west coast, with views towards the iconic islet of Es Vedrà before descending to Sa Pedrera.

Atlantis is a former quarry where stone was extracted and used in the construction of Ibiza’s old town. Today, the rugged site is known for its unusual rock formations, natural pools and secluded position beside the Mediterranean.

The hike includes a swim stop, giving participants the opportunity to cool off in the sea before making the steep climb back up.

The September 27 excursion starts at 08:00 and lasts approximately three hours. It is rated as a medium-difficulty hike, with a steep descent and ascent, so a reasonable level of fitness is required.

There is a minimum of five participants and a maximum of 10. The price is €50 for the early-bird rate or €60 at the standard price, including VAT and insurance.
